All excited and out of breath, 9 year old Ahren told me that her and a friend were going to perform a dance for the K-2nd graders at school. She asked if I would be willing to help make their costumes. Needing a little more information, I asked what kind of dance? Well, it was something to do with "Old England" and all she knew was that they had to dance around a pole!!! Then she drew a sketch of a black and red and white dress. I just got my delivery of my Connecting Threads order.
WooHOO! Great selection of fabrics (as always) and I love the tote bag kits.
I need a change from quilting and embroidering and will enjoy making those tote bags. Such a nice variety.
Thanks for offering your special deals.
Happy...happy!

I need to decide how to quilt this new quilt top. Should I just outline and put quilted borders on it? Or should I outline, fill in the blank areas with designs and quilting, and quilted borders? Any suggestions? Thanks

...or in our case a 4yr. old grandson...
Last night, we're at a lacrosse game that our son coaches. His 4yr. is sitting by me and says within shouting range...Did you know grandma Betty is dead? (MY 87yr old MIL passed last Aug.) Someone shot her...well, I started laughing so hard (there were times, I could've held the gun) and everyone else was dying with laughter. I said...really...how do you know this...Well that's how everyone dies...you just get shot. There wasn't a dry eye from…
