Threads from fabric

Ok here is my dilemma...When I cut my fabric...I then start to put 2 pieces together,,,then when you add another piece....I have noticed,,,,,( for quite some time now this has been happening)

That the fabric has threads everywhere,,like it's unraveling....I get good quality fabircs....or even if I do go to Jo-Ann's Fabrics...It still unravels...and it's aggravating...So…

Trip tp Vermont

We took a trip to Burlington, VT last week for a teaching conference. Decided since the weather was good, we drove through the Adirondacks. The area is in between seasons...waiting for snow for the skiers and snowmobiles...when I say isolated...I mean I almost peed my pants trying to find a place open!!! We stumbled on a quaint mom and pop cafe in Speculator. It was priceless, the waitress was cute as a button. They were from Vietnam. How they ever picked Speculator to call home. Soon you…

Felt Purse

I made a felt purse out of a home knit sweater that was too large for my client.  The dragon fly was knit into the sweater and I made a pocket out of it. I lined it and put the flap on. When you go to my pictures and click on the picture it will give you an option to view it full size. 

Where is BJ Elder??? Haven't seen her post in Ages??????

I am currently in a new quilting group who loves using connecting threads threads. Our group quilt in an old church where we love to have free donations of thread and fabrics that we can make quilts etc. This is a group where ladies of the community love to get together to sew and have great social time together. A lady bought this church in hopes that it would bring the community closer. She has done a wonderful job and we are so happy when we come together to sew and make new creations. We…
