I woke up to another round of snow this morning. Supposed to snow pretty much all day 1-2" an hour. I was excited that it was melting but here we go again. BTW, did I mention Monday it was 50 and I was on the front porch enjoying the sunshine when guess what I saw? A mosquito! I am ready for summer but I could do without those lil babies!
I hope everyone is enjoying their day! I think I will stay locked in my sewing room and create something. What? I have no idea, but I have a 2…Continue
Nate, our 4 year old grandson, who lives with us, wanted cookies. I told him I would make them tomorrow. During the day, he kept asking if it was tomorrow yet. I told him he would have to go to bed, then it would be tomorrow. My big mistake there!! He came to me later,,, said I went to bed,,, where are the cookies??? So guess I will be making some cookies today. Have a great day everyone. More snow in Michigan.

Why do I put these projects away at such a late stage? Why not just…Continue

I usually design the thing, break it down and then pretend I don't know what it is supposed to look like. (that part is shockingly easy for me--short term memory loss)
So, last night I'm sewing two stacks of pieces together. I have counted these babies like 6 times to make sure I have cut the right number, and that's the number I…Continue
