Three Weddings and a Funeral

Posted by Terry F on May 24, 2013 at 12:50pm 4 Comments

Pam's comment on making a memory box for her grandsons reminded me of this one:  6 yr. old Abby to 8 yr. old Ahren,  "What's a funeral?"  Ahren's very serious answer,  "It's when you get married."

hope to sew soon!

Pole dancing, anyone?

Posted by Terry F on May 23, 2013 at 7:41pm 10 Comments

Question of the week...

This being graduation time...I read this article...

Would you trade places with an 18 yr. old???

I would take that trade in a flash with any 18 yr. old...I would love to take the knowledge…

New Quilt top

Posted by Anna Hord on May 21, 2013 at 4:57pm 2 Comments

I need to decide how to quilt this new quilt top.  Should I just outline and put quilted borders on it?  Or should I outline, fill in the blank areas with designs and quilting, and quilted borders?  Any suggestions?  Thanks

Out of the mouths of babes...

...or in our case a 4yr. old grandson...

Last night, we're at a lacrosse game that our son coaches. His 4yr. is sitting by me and says within shouting range...Did you know grandma Betty is dead? (MY 87yr old  MIL passed last Aug.) Someone shot her...well, I started laughing so hard (there were times, I could've held the gun) and everyone else was dying with laughter.
