I have another pattern that has just been published in a magazine.
"May Baskets" is a tribute to many of my favorite spring flowers, and a memory of sharing them with friends and neighbors on the first day of May.

I've been on vacation this week and while trying to work on the house I also found time to try and work on my quilt. The picture below is the never gonna make it again quilt on the new floor in our living room. Everything was going great until I walked around and discovered that the backing on the far end of the quilt was not long enough. This wall hanging was made from 9 Dresden plate blocks from the 1940s. I bought them from a friend with an antique store. Each block was made of 4 smaller fan blocks, so I took the big blocks apart and rearranged the fans into the baby bunting pattern. The fans were appliquéd on muslin and looked a little drab, so I appliquéd the blue quarter circles on each fan to perk them up a bit.
