International Quilt Festival/Chicago's famous Quiltmaking Academy features 105 hands-on classes and two luncheon lectures, plus exciting special events, with a renowned faculty of 41 experienced teachers.

Comment by Arlene Parker on March 14, 2009 at 11:50pm: Went last year for the first time and it was awesome; I also helped out my nephew in their Nolting booth which was a blast. Our guild is taking a bus this year but I might have to help out in the booth again so plans are still in the air. Really hope I get to attend.

Comment by Annette Byrne on January 3, 2009 at 8:55am: Our local guild is planning a bus trip to Rosemont. I've attended their show from the first year they started (4 yrs I think). I have trouble walking and the seating is scarce but I wouldn't give it up until I absolutely had to. Meeting the celebrities in the quilt world is great but the quilts are the main attraction.
