Quilt Celebration XII, by Village Squares Quilters

Village Squares Quilters is holding their 12th quilt show, Quilt Celebration XII, on Saturday and Sunday, November 10 and 11, 2012 at the Greenville Elementary School, Edgemont District, Scarsdale, NY.

There will be 100+ quilts. Members and invited guests display the versatility and beauty of their work. Raffle prizes include a raffle quilt, Village Garden, pieced and hand quilted by VSQ members. There is also a sales boutique, vendors, and a Quilters’ Café.

The local charity chosen this year as beneficiary of a portion of the proceeds from the raffle quilt is Westchester Coalition for Hungry and Homeless. Remaining proceeds from the raffle are used to support the guild’s ongoing outreach programs, such as Cuddle Quilts, Bedford Babies, and Friendship Quilts.

Quilt Celebration XII

- is wheelchair accessible;

- will run all weekend – both Saturday and Sunday;

- will display more than 100 quilts: bed-size, lap or wall, and art quilts;

- invites many vendors of both quilting and other arts to offer their latest for sale;

- offers free demonstrations by both vendors and our members;

- shows Challenge quilts, outreach display for each of the projects, and a student display;

- offers Boutique items and quilts for sale;

- provides refreshment service for purchase in our Quilters’ Café

- will provide a children’s scavenger hunt.

Entry is $8 for all adults, children under 12 - $1.

Raffle Tickets are also available at $1 each or a book of 6 tickets for $5.
