Can you hem my pants for me?

I've had numerous of these types of comments & I usually just say that I no longer do those types of sewing & give them the name of a "professional" person or company that may be interested in their project.  However, I do hem pants for a friend who has palsy & is unable to do it herself, plus, she has one leg shorter than the other so really needs them adjusted.  As always, there are exceptions to the "rules".

Ha ha ha, I hear this....and also they start off by saying "All you have to do is.........".fill-in the blank. Well if thay is all, then why don't you do it? There are a few I still sew for.....because the are my friends.

Yes Jo,  we do favors for our friends & that is why we stay friends as we treat each other kindly & with love & respect.   Too bad our world doesn't follow through with the same treatment.
