Quilt With Us

I have just joined this group, I have never done this before so it should be very interesting to talk to fellow quilters.

I have just purchased the book "Lets Do Lunch" and want to make Lynn's Tote on page 6 and the Farmer's Market Tote on page 8. I plan using some of my many many fat quarters. This is a great book and glad that I purchased it.

I need suggestions on how to use my rather large collection of fat quarters, any ideas or pattern suggestions let me know

Hi Doreen.

My best and favorite books on Fat Quarters are the "Turning Twenty Fat Quarter Quilts" I have done these and Turning Twenty Again. Just so easy and pretty.

Happy Quilting,
Hi Joyce

Thanks for the book title, I will look for it when I'm out fabric shopping. Although I say I'm not buying any fabric or books until I get a few more projects done, started or completed. The girls just laugh when I say it!
I'll let you know when I get the book.

Yours in quilting
I just received this book also and am still trying to decide which project I want to tackle. I am kind of thinking on the French Braid diamond runner.

As to the question about your FQs, there is a website called Fat Quarter Shop with a lot of ideas. I love FQs cuz I don't have so much left over fabric to store.

Have fun with your totes!
Hey gals,
If you're chatting about the Lets Do Lunch book, you should post in the Lets Do Lunch Quilt Along area so all the other quilters in that group can help you along. I'm a member of that group, but haven't started my table runner yet. I just stumbled on your comments here and thought I should point you to the group. But you can chat anywhere in this community if you like :)
Check out the fat quarter books by M'Lissa Rae Hawley. I really like her books and she shows each pattern in many different colorways so you can really get inspired.
