I need help. I bought a panel at a fabric fair last week and LOVE the panel, though I've never used one before. I thought it would be a quick and easy project. When I got home however, I found that it had been printed crooked! YIKES! Is there anyway of getting it straight, or do I just deal and make my boarders crooked so that my final project looks straight? Any tips would be wonderful!
It would be hard to say without seeing it, Tamitha. It might be possible to straighten it up by cutting some here and there but I'd have to look at it first. You might try taking it to a local quilting shop and get some advice from them.

Tamitha what did you do with the panel? Did you wash it and what were the results? I used to do panels, and I loved it because it helped me learn to design the rest of the quilt. I used the panel to guide me into designing the blocks or pattern for the borders. Like the little train I did for a friend and it had the train in the panel. I didn't take a picture of it is the only thing. No digitals back then, anyway I made a track border for it and it was so cute. I don't even know where that friend is now. But the little guy that got the quilt should be about 14 now.
Well, just thought I would check back with you to see if you did anything with it or how it came out. Susan/IA
I must admit I haven't done anything with it yet! I got sidetracked doing a quilt for my son, and a different panel for my mom for Chirstmas with matching pillows. I'll let you know as soon as I get to it. HOpefully soon, since it was a very cute, nativity scene panel. Thanks for checking up on me!
