Quilt With Us

I can only spend about 2 hours a week quilting and need some quick gift ideas for family and friends.  I am not an advanced quilter...somewhere between beginner and intermediate.  don't know how to do paper piecing....have Alex Anderson's book but don't have time now to learn.

Any ideas?

Tote bags, place mats, pillow tops for starters.  There are pattern books that give lots of other suggestions.  My favorites are the three I mentioned.  Pot holders is another good one, although the ones I've made have used paper piecing which is fun when you get a chance to learn the technique.  Look for a small project with only a few pieces to start.
