yes....On connecting Threads...you can download the instructions,,,free,
but then I ordered the fabric, on line, from them. Real nice fabric, too. They are really fun to do. I'm still making them, even after the holidays. I choose 4 fabrics that look good together, and end up with four nice "Mug Mats" Good luck , have fun, and Happy New Year from Massachusetts. Anne
I'm glad you liked the coasters Anne, I designed them!
Here are some photos of them as they appeared in the ad (click to make bigger). I'd love to see yours if you have pictures. Thanks for starting the discussion; it's hard for us to tell when people like our free patterns.
If anyone else wants to download the pattern click here. We also made some other contemporary patterns - matching pillows and 2 great quilts. Those pictures and patterns can be found here and here

Hi Katie. And Happy New Year. You are wonderful, for designing the side car coasters.
I have used the pattern with 4 different cuts. I make 4 cut, and color sets at a time. They are so much fun to make. I have probably made at least 50 sets and given them away to friends and family. I have 2 more sets to make for friends, that said, that they just had to have them. Also, if we have some beginner quilters out in our world.....They are a great thing to stitch up, and instant gradification. Katie, keep up the good work. Anne
Wow, Anne! 50 sets of coasters is impressive! They are easy though, so I guess experienced quilters can breeze through them pretty fast. We wanted them to be simple enough for beginner quilters, too, like you said. That's why I didn't include any templates-- I wanted people to make them their own.
Keep up the good work. I hope your 2009 is full of lots of sewing & quilting!
