Quilt With Us

Hi everyone,
I moved across country and left most of my stash to my quilting freinds from my church mission quilting group to bless them. It was a hard descision but I thought it would be to expensive to ship it all and store it until I bought my home. Now I regret the descision as fabric in my new area is not plentiful as it was in Phoenix. I was blessed yesterday to recieve two packages of half yard pieces from some of that stash from my friend who painstakingly cut and cut for me to have some of it so I have a start now.
My question is this how on a limited budget do you build your stash? Where do you find material for quilting on a fixed income? I am disabled and raising a teenage daughter and its so hard to find money to rebuild my stash again. Also how much yardage do you buy to keep on hand so you have enough of it? Thanks so much

Give strong hints to friends and family, anyone who might be wondering a gift to by for you, that you would like gift certificates to Connecting Threads and any other fabric outlet or shop you like. Make their shopping easy and yours more fun.
Almost all the online fabric sellers offer clearance & special sales. Check them out. Save up & buy $50 or more from CT and they ship your fabric (or books, patterns) for free. You can't beat that.
