I think this website has been updated? I looked on the main page and didn't see anything about it, and all the pages has this 'menu' at the bottom.
That's about all I can figure.
I'll ask Karen about it.

They are gone! Maybe there is a front page or somewhere with news of changes to our pages somplace? I am not active in any of the blogs. I will have to peek around a bit more.

This ATC is made by Jean Levert Hood of Brackettville, TX and it is called Galaxy. It looks like acrylic paint. The back is black and feels like a chalk paint. It is signed with gold ink. She is a member of WWAO.

Very nice Diana, love the hair, swept to the side as if in the wind.
Am I really seeing that the number of comments has disappeared?

I agree with the business card idea. You are welcome. If the next and previous would come with instructions, we would be just fine.

Here is another ATC by Cat Mallard of Florida. It looks like watercolor. The mermaid is holding a little sparkly jewel in her hands, so precious.

Diana, loved the Obama ATC, that idea would make a great business card, using a photo of a quilt the maker had made. thanks for all your great ideas and for sharing so much with us. I haven't had time to check out the sites, but will (if I can figure how to go back by using the next and go forward by usingis is the previous button???) Change is not for me!

I just looked at this site and they have post cards for sale. I did not realize the cost of these. They are vibrant in color and really look like "happy" cards.

Hi, I am a member of Design Style Guida and they do treasuries, like Etsy. The just informed me that one of my aceos is in a treasury. This is the link:

Hi, Diana---just wanted to let you know that your work is featured in this
week's Design Style Guide "spotlight" on Byhand.me.com

http://www.byhand.me/component/option,com_content/Itemid,70/id,15237/task,view/

This "spotlight" was also chosen for Byhandgallery.blogspot.com

This ATC was a swap that was handed out at the museum in Bethesda, MD. This is where the exhibition of our quilt show was held. It was President Obama: A Celebration in Art Quilts in Feb-March of 2009.

The ATC was given by Debra Gabel. This is a replica on her quilt that was on display. It looks like she printed it on cotton, sandwiched it with batting and added a business card as the backing. The top and back feels like its fused to the batting and pinking shears was used to cut it out. She stitched a straight line right above "Its a New Day!", zigzagged across the top, above the image. She added a hole and threaded the red, blue and silver fiber.

We were just informed that the book, published by the same name, has given a second art scholarship of $500.00 to a student at Montgomery College. I am proud to have my quilts help students earn money to continue their education. I received no royalties, just the immense pleasure of giving.

This style is very easy to put together as photos of your works, even if it is not an atc or aceo.

This is what Pilan said about her crab apple "board"
"it was illustration board. Just the kind you get at hobby lobby. It was the heavier and it escape me what weight. I think it was called watercolor board. I love painting on it. "
