I've sent a message to CT admin regarding "iwanta newjob". If you look at how long ago this was posted, I wonder how many of us were out of bed. It seems kind of like those e-mails I get that are advertising something or telling you that you've won won (something too good to be true) They always arrive during the night.

I wondered about that also. I always am concerned about getting something for nothing!!!

Here is the post again from iwanta newjob. This looks fishy. Can someone check this out? She's appeared on another group and I'm a bit concerned with the posting. Thanks
Nancy

Hi, All! I joined this group pretty close to the beginning and haven't had time to comment! I have a granddaughter, Adelaide, who's 1st birthday is this Halloween and another "honorary " granddaughter, Gianna, who's 1st birthday was on the 6th. Addie is a very *big* little girl and Gianna is petite.
I made both girls the booties from the book and I used the 12 month size. Trying to get the shoe on Adelaide made me feel like the prince's emissary trying to get the glass slipper on Cinderella's step-sister! LOL Got it on, but she'll probably only be able to wear it about a week! : ) Haven't tried Gianna's on yet.
I'd also made them both the sundresses. Addie's fit perfectly and Gianna's was *roomy*. I was just so busy this past Summer, and it was so cold here that I just had trouble thinking *sundress* weather!
I'm impressed by any of you making those booties smaller than 12 months! Everything was fine, but I thought putting the in-soles (lining) on was a bit labor intensive, to say the least!
There's no doubt that they're very cute when you're done with them!

Hello everyone, newbie here! I just started quilting the last 6 months or so. I started on a baby quilt from Amy Butler's little stitches and got hooked. I sewed a lot of other things over the last couple of years, but as soon as I had Ethan's quilt done I had to do another (it's kind of addicting). I just finished a quilt from some of my scraps and this weekend I'm starting on my first applique quilt. I'll probably do the pieceing on the machine and the applique by hand. Hope to gather a wealth of info from this site:)

Thanks for the 'heads up' on sizing. I hoping to find out if our new one is going to be a boy or a girl.

I've found that the slipper patterns are way too big for Lucy, so I've had to do some reducing to make them fit. Thank goodness for the copier. The 6 month size is waaaay too big. That's the only problem that I've found. I'll see how they come out.

So much fun to sew for little ones. Way more fun then making this wedding dress!! No stress there. :) But, it's going well. I've not made any of those slippers yet but they are so cute so will have to do some for the next baby. My nephew and wife are expecting at the beginning of the year so I have time to get those done.
