Oh that is funny, Kathy! Yours is awesome! It can't get much better than that. I bet that quilt shop was fun. I will get to quilting it soon, I have to work on Christmas stuff too of course~

Well, I just accidently deleted my comment! Humph! Gonna try again....silly me!!

Froggie, you will get your little quilt done and naje the kitty's happy...yes you will! :-)

I went to Springfield today with a friend, and we stopped off at Sew Simple Quilt Shop in Ozark to look for fabric for the Bonnie Hunter Mystery Quilt. Anyway....Guess what they had hanging on the wall!!!! YES, it was a Little Red Barns Quilt! They are doing it as a block of the month. And the really good thing....at least it made me feel good...it didn't look a bit better than mine! They just used a few different fabrics, that's all. LOL Anyway, that and buying a huge stack of fabric in there just made my day!!!

My quilt is still sitting on my chair. It is a sad kitty quilt that needs quilting. Maybe between Christmas gifts, I will get it quilted.

Thanks guys. It was a lot of fun to make Lynne. You should do one. :-) I hope Barbara can get better pictures of her quilting than I could with my camera. I can't wait to see her's finished. Now, on to start a new project.lol

Great Quilt Kathy!  I didn't make one of these, but I followed everyone as you went along.  Barbara posted on Gifty that her's is back from the LAer, so I can't wait to see a pic of that one either!  Your gaughter is one lucky lady.

It is beautiful, Kathy.

I'm sure your daughter will love it.

Thanks for the pitures.

Whooohoo! It's done...quilted and off to my daughter for her birthday. I suppose you want pictures? LOL Well, whether you do or not....here they are.DH is holding it up for me...the background is our grape arbor and garden.

These are close-ups of some of the quilting. I think they are self explanatory.

Not sure it is going to show up really well, but I quilted a feather motif on the chickens in the wing area.

Thanks,Lou Ann. Going to start working on the quilting today. Got it all sandwiched yesterday. Plan to take it really slow, so as not to mess up too much.  I think the little barns would make fabulous wall hangings. This was so much fun to work on with a group.

Your ideas sound terrific! That is going to be one magnificent quilt!!!

I only intended mine to be 4 wall quilts or maybe made into a wall quilt with the 4 of them, so no great expectations. However, I only have 2+ done, so will have to get them finished before I can even decide.
