QuiltDragon--I also use the window method on larger pieces. Wonder Under mega years ago was stiffer than the current. I hadn't cut windows with the trees. I just did the scrunch test on the quilt. There is no difference in feel between the pieced flying geese and the fused trees.

Agnes, I always used Wonder Under myself, mainly out of habit. I have noticed that things were a bit stiff, so now I make a window out of the wonder under so there's only fusible around the edges.

I have always used SAS and SAS Lite.  I haven't tried the others but did hear the SAS will be hard to find.

Denise, that is beautiful!

And here I am never having heard about Soft Fuse before. lol Have a good supply of Wonder Under so may never even look for it. I always buy the rolls, not the sheets, when I buy fusible product.

SaS says their paper problem is supposed to be solved with the product back on the market in fall.

yes, Janet I will never use another product as long as soft fuse is available and I have tried them all….heat n bond,….the new steam a seam lite,….wonder under, I still think soft fuse is a superior product and I don't mind paying a bit more for it!

I used HeatnBond Lite for many yrs, but was introduced to Soft Fuse during a class and fell in love with it.  You can get it in a packet with individual sheets or on a roll.  If you do a lot of fusing, I would recommend the roll.

The SAS has been having trouble getting a good new supplier of the paper for either side of it, from my understanding. Amazing that it has been such a problem for them.

I tried Wonder Under and Heat and Bond Lite when Steam-A-Seam Lite became unavailble. The Wonder Under was light and flexible and the most like SAS lite. Heat and Bond Lite is a little heavier and stiffer. I haven't tried Soft Fuse but will try it!

Just another thought I found the Wonder Under exceptionally flexible.

Denise--That is lovely. So calm and relaxing.

BJ--You may not find it better. I swore for years that SaS2 and SaS lite were the best. Don't know if there was a problem with the last stuff I bought but was so frustrated with it that I included the Wonder Under with one of my CT orders last summer but didn't use it till just recently.
