It's either a pinwheel, or four hourglasses, lol..
Lovely block! And look at your perfect points! I'm impressed.

It's on sale at Amazon for 15.80 now.

The Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt: Letters from 1920s Farm Wives and the 111 Blocks They Inspired

There really is no need to go thru the expense of buying the EQ program for The Farmers Wife blocks. If u join the group on Flickr, there is a file you can download that has the templates for every single block. Just make sure your printer is at the correct setting and print the block, then I trace onto freezer paper, iron them onto my fabric, cut them out & sew them together. Seam allowance is included on each template, and my blocks have come out the perfect size each time. Lots of fun and pretty much just costs you the price of the book and some freezer paper.

There is a great Yahoo group too that has many files that are very helpful and the templates can be downloaded per block at:

I've done paper foundation patterns for all the blocks, I have posted them on my webpage. Use them if you would like. I still have a few more to post, but will have them there soon. www.susangatewood.net
I belong to this group, but have the book and CD also.  It's a nice group.
I posted another Farmers Wife and My Page if you gals want to take a look.
