Had a great time at Janets too! It's such a pleasure to sew there, I love the space and light. We even bought fresh farm eggs! And they ARE delicious. We made this quilt top, Square in a Square. I was able to finish the top while still there! When does that happen?!! The pattern calls for a charm pack and layer cake and there is very little waste. Gotta love that! Of course everyone had different color choices and they were all beautiful!

Fun workshop at Farmhouse yesterday, despite the Strawberry festival traffic on the way home. Missed you Jen. I love what we made and had high hopes of finishing it today until my boys came up with other plans. Hopefully tomorrow night.

Roz -- sorry about your trip. Feel better.
Congrats to graduates. It is such a wonderful thing to see our kids excited about their future and achieving their goals. Although there's theoretically more time to quilt, I found that paying tuition forced me to cut way down on my fabric buying.
Angie is finishing up her GED this week. She just turned 16 and will take a few classes at Suffolk CC until she's 18. Her goal is FIT in NYC. My heart will break when she leaves.

I agree it is exciting. Carla is heading to umass amherst for linguistics and foreign language. It is just starting to hit me that she is going. So I am sad too. Iam adding borders to her quilt and will start quilting it soon.

I never made it to Florida ...I ended up in ER but much better now.
Sherri, congratulations! my son is graduating This week too. Prom is on Wednesday ...I'm excited to see them all dressed up. Im so proud of Jake, he has been accepted into the honors program at John Jay College in Manhattan...and Alex starts Stony Brook this summer in biology... It's just such an great time for them...
