Hi Kids.  It's pretty gloomy out there right now.  But, I think it has all stopped.  Today, we had more Snow, Ice, and even more melting dripping into the house.  now it's in the doorway of our new addition.  Well, anyway, the boys are shoveling off the snow and Ice on the roof, right now...and the Insurance Man is coming over tomorrow.  Such Frustration!.  Anyway, I have done some cooking today..and later on, I will go into the sewing room, and relax.  thank goodness, for our hide-aways, huh?  Hope you are all safe, and staying out of the cold and snow.  I'll be back later on....Thanks for listening...Anne

Francine & Froggie, it will be a long while before the civil war fabric comes out.  We have to work months in advance so some of your stash "should" be reduced by then, right?  It is beautiful and so fun to work with!

you are Froggie - some states don't have what it needs for the snow - here since last year it is mandatory to have winter snow put on our vehicle from Dec 15 to Mar.15 - except for big trucks or like our Rv - we are leaving next week and I had to ask for a derogation in order to leave without problems and come back - also some people in the Us are not used to drive in the snow - so if we hit some bad weather on the way down we will just stop and wait -

Diane take the time to rest - because when we get sick nobody takes cares of you - it is the other way around - and hope the new baby is ok with his cold

MARIIIIIII - I don't have civil war fabric..... ( since it is the states thing) but I always wanted some - so please hurry up pleasssssssse - and like Froggie said - don't be too hard on us and stop teasing we are already busy with your other stuf

Francine, at least you have the equipment to clear the roads. When we lived in CT, by morning the roads would be clear. Here, we don't have the budget for all that. DD tried to get out today to go to work, they had cleared the road at the end of our street, and of course it piled up snow in our street. So, she got stuck. She called the boys to come and help her. Some guy came by in a big pick up truck, and he pulled her out. He didn't have any problems in the stuff.

Oh no Diane, I am sorry we gave you the crud. You sure have a bunch of meetings and things to attend! Maybe you made everyone sick last night. ugh. They should be able to give themselves some good meds.

Mari, it is NOT NICE to tease me by waving civil war FQ's under my nose. Oh well, I suppose I can wait, I have two totes full of civil war fabrics. I better get in there and start using some.

Good Morn'in Everyone!  Hope its a good day whether you have to stay in or not!  As for me, I'm back to working with a new civil war collection that will be coming up ~ yummy!  Just my style!  Happy sewing!

Guess who's got the 'Crud' now. I'm thinking you all sent it to  me over this site!!!!

I had to chair a meeting last night nd the guest speaker was the RCMP and the co-ordinator of VSU. I have no voice so it was quite comical. I threatened to start using a white board. Fortunately we are all good friends so the meeting went well. But I did have to suffer through a lot of teasing.

I have 8 projects my friend would like samples of for next Thurs.[9th] for her to take to the first Retreat she has been asked to set up at.I have been a mean sewing machine since Jan.1st so I am hoping this mess doesn't slow me down! At least now I'll get out of 3 meetings I had to attend.

Very cold here but going to warm up. Yesterday it was -32C with a wind chill in the -40'sC. Have a great day all.

I hope we don't get any of that snow here since DH has an appt. Friday in New Orleans at the Medical Center.  He has an ECHO scheduledand really can't afford to change the time.

Everyone stay home, stay safe and stay warm......

Froggie - move north - we have no snow or almost none on the ground.... had 2 spell of cold - about 5 to 10 degres - and that's it..... - just hop in over here.... it is 2 years in a row that all the bad weather passes south of us - got 4 to 5 inches before christmas and not more after that except fpr a few inches here and there.... - we are heading south next on feb. 12......... don't know how long it will take........
