Well Donna, we could take turns going down tothe creek and fetching us some!!!!LOL And I'll bet that most if not all of us have had to do our "business" in the bushes at some time!LOL  Mine was in the Rocky Mountains.  I "hid" behind a large boulder away from the group I was with, only to discover that I was giving quite the show to passersby on I-70!!! No big deal, because I didn't know any of them!

And I learned a long time ago not to think about something before I went to bed.  I used to wake up in the middle of the night and run to the kitchen looking for paper and pen to remind myself of something I needed to do the next day at work. I woke up DH and the dogs and it took me forever to get back to sleep.  DH finally put a pad and pencil on the nightstand for me.  Next morning it was a crap shoot trying to read what I wrote in the dark!  Now I just do deep breathing exercises to relax me and fall asleep concentrating on my breathing and nothing else.  Works when I feel like I need a nap too.  And even if I only get 6 hours of sleep, I feel good when I wake up and I'm ready to start my day.

I'm totally with you on that Froggie.  I've designed quilts and quilt blocks in my sleep.  When I finish the project I'm so excited about how it turns out it wakes me up!  CACKLE!

I heard that your brain keeps working on whatever you were reading before falling asleep. When I was in college, I was in my 30's and had kids, so I was old compared to most. THe calculus drove me nuts, one day I was working on a process, then went to bed, and figured it out in my sleep. Teacher thought I was nuts when I told him, but it really works.

We need running water, Donna! It would be sew much fun to spend a week at your cabin with all our Gifty friends!

Well Lynne of course I will have plenty of guest bedrooms for all my quilting friends,, I would love to have a whole house full of quilters with a bunch of sewing machines and cutting tables and we could stay up all night and talk and quilt and fall into bed when we want and get up and start sewing all over again... Well I have a cabin in the woods but I don't think anyone would like to come and visit LOL there is no running water..

Hi Everyone, Yes, I'm still around.  I've been reading everything that you have to say but have just been quiet.  Not much sewing done, I just can't get started, someone please give me a good swift kick.  I have been catching up on housework and at this time of year there's always canning.   I love the bags and I did finally cut my hearts for the sachet, the shop hop bag is on my list for me, but I'm going to have to buy fabric for that I don't have any that pleases me for it.  Doesn't that just break my heart?  Not!!! lol

 See ya'll later.  Marie

Good morning all!

Last night I got started on my first set of clutch bags.  I began with the pink small bag.  Almost finished...still have to stitch all around and turn it right side out!  Got the zipper on though!  Wasn't as hard as I remembered.  If I hadn't started so late last night I may have finished it.

Looking forward to seeing what Mari has in store for us this week!
