Wow, Mari, I love the towels. I need new kitchen towels, plus I can get started on Christmas gifts! Thanks.
Ranchmom, I'm glad you got home OK, and you let your son drive. That's very brave of you.
Kit, the snow is supposed to give you more reason to quilt. Get in there! I wish I was in there, but boooo I am at work.
I gotta go buy some new towels.
Oh Vickie, I bet the ladies have lots of fun with their doors. It sounds like a fun way to make your own space unique.

Thanks your the towel pattern. My MIL is in an assisted living area now. So I find little projects like this really lifts her up and makes her feel special. I am having fun thinking of things to hang on her door. The ladies take pride on their door decorations.

Kit & RanchMom ~ I forgot to mention that you need to pre-shrink your fabrics before construction. The towel fabric usually will shrink at a different rate than the trim fabric.

Mari, I love the towels, I always try to have some on hand for quick gifts and this is a really easy to do I think I have every thing I need so will try to do some this afternoon. Of course I will work on my Tote for school also.

I spent the last four days with my DD. We had a wonderful time, I helped her hem her livingroom curtains (she doesn't sew so I hemmed them for her.) My DS#4 was playing basketball on Friday and Saturday in small towns near her so went both nights to his games. I went to the Doctor with her on Thursday and she is expecting her first baby the middle of September, so we are really excited.

I read about everybody's weather this past weekend and we had it also, I was really nervous about driving home yesterday had about 5 inches of snow Saturday night and it was still snowing yesterday morning. Had DS#4 with me so at least I wasn't alone and after we were about 20 miles from my daughters the snow stopped it warmed up and rained some and the roads were good for the next 120 miles. I even let DS#4 drive (he has his learners permit, is just 16).
Well I'd better go I am four days behind on house work I never new one man could make such a mess.

Love the towels. I had in my mind to make some for Christmas gifts, but didn't. I think I'll make some of these up soon. If my road ever gets ice free, I will go buy some towels and get busy making some. Of course, I want to get my tote bag finished first. Kit
