We are using the book, Fast, Fun, and More Gifty. It is compiled and written especially for us! Our newest Gifty book is the best ever for preparing a gift-giving extravaganza. There are even MORE small and quick projects. Hey, you'll be able to use the projects in this book all year long!

Get ready… prepare your sewing space, oil the machine, and finish up any UFOs because you’re going to be busy! I challenge you to keep up with us!

  1. Time frame is from July 18th - December 19th, 2016 for the weekly projects.
  2. Please post all project questions on Notions where you will find the complete blog. All information is kept together there for reference later and It's much easier to find!

Peg: Each time I see you post I think it's my sister Peggy but I doubt she's picked up a needle and thread since home ec class in high school. If anyone likes pottery check out her website (she's the artistic one in the family) at mudmatters.com

Froggie - now I want to go out and buy some jacks. We used to play jacks outside all summer long - even had a contest at our neighborhood park.
I think it's great to be known as the crazy ladies - can get away with anything and just blame it on a crazy attack :) Have a great weekend - finally nice weather here. 70 and sunny with no humidity - love it

Boys can't play jacks. It's much too complicated because they cannot do two things at once. And my bet is you'll have to keep Froggie and me on track too if we meet in a bar. Boy, a tall, ice cold brew would taste real nice right about now. And maybe a Nathan's hot dog to go with it.

Crazy Ladies it is! The sour old men need to go the the bar and then look for the jacks sack and see if they can figure out how to use them. We can all sit and watch them! Then since we are all together, we can keep Mari and Teri on track (yeah, like that's gonna happen) and we can get ON the bus and go get some buns and pickles.

Froggie: Love the jacks sack. One of the things on my tomakesomeday list are otedama balls, the Japanese version of jacks (that can be used for juggling). Clearly you are younger than I. I remember Barbie's forerunner, the Ginny doll.

Mari: Who you talkin 'bout? Singer or me?

Good Friday before Labor Day Morning!!!

I'll pass on the evil twin. I get into far too much trouble all by myself. And she'd probably start lots of projects and leave me with even more UFO's. And I bet she wouldn't contribute a penny toward the rent. And she'd eat me out of house and home. No, thanks just the same, I'm more trouble than I can handle right now. What I need is a good twin who will take care of me, you know, cook dinner, do laundry, pay the bills. Now that's a twin I could learn to love.

Diane: Please send any frost you don't need this way. Or you could send the tomatoes.

Debra: I like the sweet and nutty variation on the nutty as a fruitcake expression. I'll have to remember it.

I'll be at my desk all day, so I'll be able to keep up today, in case you didn't all exhaust your silliness yesterday.

Carry on, Crazy Ladies.

Wahoo, we are officially Crazy Ladies! Can ya see me doin the hopppy dance? Maybe the sour old men need to have some fun like us, that would make them hopppy fun old men! No evil twin here, I do it all myself, all one of me. Oh man, I can't believe I get myself into so much trouble.
I wanted to share a Gifty I received on Tuesday from my first friend. She handed me a bag and told me it was a blast from my past coming at me! Was it ever, I wonder how many hours we spent playing jacks? That is, when we could take a break from playing Barbies.

All kidding aside, I am so glad I found her again.
