Hey Francine are you talking about like my kids did when they were young??? I never did that as my Mother always waited until the last minute when she got her bonus check....Oh well, no peeping for me any way.I haven't figured out what I am going to let DH give me for Christmas this year. I love your placmats and napkin sets, the color is some of my favorites.
Hey Linda, what do you think of using the pre-quilted cloth for that little pillow???????

Hey Linda - just thanks for being there.... - what would we do without you - when I say I lost my sitter - is that I have a 22 yr old girl that is handicapped - she is just like a 2 yr old - so I need somebody to stay with her - so I can work and/or quilt ( chut) so I had a lady that came 35 hrs/week - and last week she quit... well she wasn't very good but at least my girl was safe and I could work..... now I just get to quilt - oh poor me - can't work...... - that is why I said I could only hand quilt.... - can't wait for Christmas... I ordered the Flynn frame ... my Dh is giving it to me - and I know he received it last week - but I haven't seen it.... aHHHHHHHHHHH POOR ME - if I could just put my hand on it I could try it and then wrap it again - like when we were young.... lol

Mari, that pillow IS the best. I love mine, I like your changes. I was thinking about quilting it next time, too, but hadn’t thought of the zipper idea. It’s great. Community pillows are gross. That’s nasty, the guy picked them up off the floor, and in with the other pillows. Do they ever get washed? Hmmmmm, probably not. Stinky things.
Francine, if your friend doesn’t like the placemats and napkins, just send them my way! I love those colors. I am sure she will love them, and I will be left to make my own. Oh poor me.
Diane, I think that when you get back to the machine, we won’t hear from you for weeks! You will be buried under fabric. Quilting your way out. Oh, that sounds like fun, actually.
Peg, you crack me up, must be something in the water. Lol.
Francine, Oh no, you lost your sitter? Maybe she is buried under your fabric, go check real quick. I bet she’s hungry. And thirsty. (Sorry, yes, I know, I am demented)
I need to go get busy on DD’s cross stitch for Christmas. No quilting for me today. I think I will just watch TV and stitch all evening.
Hoppy quilting!

Thanks everyone for your nice words on my place mat - all of you have made beautiful gifts I just can't wait for next Christmas to make those (hopefully) -thanks to Mari and the CT gang that forum will go on... and on so we (na I) might have time to do all of them - the place mats I did are from a CT kit - so I didn't have to choose the fabric or what so ever thanks for the kits... -
and also right now the only quilting I can do is all by hand - so see Diane you are not alone - but for me it is because I lost my sitter and have to stay close to my DD - so no machine for - everything by hand
OK enough of me - even if I don't write often - I sneak at all your nice works so please keep working.... XOXOXO

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Day.
Francine - those placemat sets are beautiful. What a lovely gift!
DH and I have been married 28 years. We met at the pool in the apt complex we both lived in at the time. 2 other couples we know met there that summer and ended up married also - must have been something in the water -lol.
I'm posting pics of my paper doll quilt and a BOM I've been working on since Jan. on mypage if anyone is interested. Have a great day.

Hi everyone. Francine...your placemats and napkins are wonderful...how pretty are they, huh. Make you want to go right to the sewing machine. But, first you have to select all your fabrics. Darlene...Congradulations, on your 46th year. So nice to hear. Well, I have to run...I'll be back later, to see what else is happening. Love to all of you, Anne
