I know you won't believe me Mari but I also thought Violet would be a great name or Lavender Girl!
Another snow storm warning today and it's going to be -28 for snowflake Sat. Same as last year. When it's that cold we can't take our boys. They would freeze and so would I this year!
Did 5 more hexagons this morning. Up at 4:30 and could't sleep so figured why not.
Will check in later to see whay is happening

Wee wee pads? That just sounds wrong.
No snow here in OK. We don't need no stinkin snow, or ice. I don't like either. Bah humbug. Someone else can have it. Sorry, Peg.
Yeah, what a great table runner! Your DD will love it.
Mari, how about calling it froggie? Because you will be jumping in and out of it. Froggie. Froggie Fit. Yeah. Oh, and thanks Soooooo much for putting all your fabric 40% off. Nobody else has fabric that nice for $3.57 a yard. I think I will buy about a hundred yards. Oh I can't buy that much, I have to save some money for January. How much do I need for January, anyway? $50?, no that can't be right. $90? That's probably it. Maybe DH will buy me some $3.57 fabric, I can give him a list. Wahoo!
I am still working on buying Christmas presents, no sewing for me today. OK, I just started buying Christmas presents yesterday! I still want to give everyone puff balls of polyfil. I think they would make hours of fun!
Hoppy quilting!

Thanks for all the complients on the table runner. it was lots of fun to make once I finished the tedious part of sewing all the 1 1/2 inch strips together. After that it was like playtime.
Diane - I'm so glad your friends and family are helping you with all the holiday preparations. I'm betting it's because you are the type of person always willing to help others - those good deeds come full circle.
Marguerite Louise - the curved piecing wasn't really difficult - just did lots of pinning. The 1st curved piecing quilt I did was a kit with laser precut pieces. I figured that way if there was a problem I'd know it was with my sewing and not the cutting.
Mari - new cars are such fun. We recently bought one with 4 wheel drive which has been really helpful with all the snow the last couple days.
And yes - it's still snowing :)

Peg: Fabulous table runner.

No snow in NYC. They predicted some but nary a flake, although it rained harder than it has in a long time this morning. My little puppy refused twice to walk in the rain. Thank goodness someone invented wee wee pads.

Mari: Fran Fit?
