Our new Gifty Galore Christmas project season begins July 18th this year and runs through December 19th! And, Anita is back with more wonderful designers!

We are using the book, Fast, Fun, and More Gifty. It is compiled and written especially for us! Our newest Gifty book is the best ever for preparing a gift-giving extravaganza. There are even MORE small and quick projects. Hey, you'll be able to use the projects in this book all year long!

Get ready… prepare your sewing space, oil the machine, and finish up any UFOs because you’re going to be busy! I challenge you to keep up with us!

  1. Time frame is from July 18th - December 19th, 2016 for the weekly projects.
  2. Please post all project questions on Notions where you will find the complete blog. All information is kept together there for reference later and It's much easier to find!

Yup, that's the tree they would hit. I better be careful, I don't want that tree crashing down on the quilting room, thanks for the reminder, Mari!

I hope those FQ's don't hit the bad tree or you may not have a quilting room at all anymore! Yikes!

Mari, you crack me up! Pillowcases! Silly girl.
And look, Nanny Gayle lost her Nanny. Now she's just Gayle. I can live with that, so OK, Gayle, I will put some FQ's in them and mail them to you, so you can pay your electric and internet bills.
Worked in the quilting room straightening and making more stuff fit in there. That poor room is going to pop one of these days, blow out the windows, and fabric will fly all over the tree and the yard. It will be ugly. I will cry.

Good Morn'in Everyone!!! Lorraine, its probably on page 2 or 3 by now or you can take a look in the picture window above. All the pictures of all the projects are being placed in there as well. Also, there is a discussion forum above that will contain info on all free patterns related to Gifty Galore as well. I'm writing 6 free patterns for y'all this season.

Yes I was busy Anne! I had all my children and grandchildren here over the weekend so I took Thursday and Friday off to be with them. Wahoo! Had a great time!

Just make sure you pay the electric bill, Gayle.....or you'd have to go back to the old treadle sewing machines. Oh and you'll need the internet to keep in touch with us. I guess it's all about priorities but fabric ranks pretty high!!!!

What a great idea, gardengirl, plop your yarn in the pocket while knitting. Too bad I can't knit. I think I could still knit one pearl two, but then what does that get me? I never could figure it out.
Diane, you really have had a lot of rain! I can join in with Sheila, and send you some of my heat, but I don't want rain in return. We have had a few too many floods this year. But if it was too cool, I wouldn't be able to swim every day!
Yeah, will working on Santa make us feel cooler? Maybe if I put the AC on 60!
Good ideas, MaryAgnes. I like Santa being stuffed with quilty gifts. And I will get working on moving someplace cool so I can be your great niece! Oh but I really like it here, it's 'home'. Oh well, I can do the lottery thing.
We bought some sheets and pillowcases yesterday at wally world, and they came in the cutest 'envelopes' made out of the same fabric. These envelopes are kinda square, or rectangle, and have a flap with a snap. I kept them, and am thinking about quilty gifts that will be cool in them. Any ideas? I can see some FQ's in the small ones, maybe I need to take some pics and post them.
