Sorry Lynne.  You don't have nine months.  You have two months before Mari starts with this year's soon to be UFO's.

The new folks may not be posting because they feel they can't get a word in edgewise! LOL!  This is a very chatty group with many great ideas.  I had made a resolution to work on UFO's at the beginning of the year.  So far I have finished one!  I don't think I have worked on any others either!  But I have 9 months left to make a dent in them!

I use On-Star to get where I'm going.  Sometimes I forget that I have put a trip in and when the voice comes over the radio, it scares me half to death!  DH just shakes his head and goes back to sleep!

Yeah Froggie, that's what I do.  Love the cozy flannels.  We'll be having more of the flannel too!!!

Have a good weekend everyone!!!

Hi Everyone.  It's almost the weekend!!

If you haven't seen the latest from The Quilt Show (that's Alex Anderson and Ricky Tims) check them out.  Look at the Pam Holland video on the Lake in the Woods Quilt Show and wait til the end when she interviews a woman about her Christmas quilt that was inspired by a Christmas card.  It's amazing!!  Also the Empire Quilters Show is featured in a slideshow, but no pic of Naked Cowboy.  I keep checking the website and they keep promising to post a pic of every quilt.  Maybe Jennie can get us one.

Have a stitchin' good weekend.

Mari, I didn't realize one of the new fabric lines is flannel! And there's a pattern by you. Cozy posies. I love it, is this what you have been working on? Or can you tell us? I love the yellow flannel, somehow I am always drawn to yellow's in spring. Plus sis just told me that her DD is going to use a pale yellow and chocolate brown for her new baby!

Lou Ann, I noticed that ALL the nuns wrote the same way!  Their handwriting was beautiful but identical believe it or not.  I have pretty good handwriting because of them too.  However, that's when penmanship was a subject.  You have a naughty DH!

Famous last words Barbara ~ "I'm going to finish my quilt soon".  Snicker!

Morn'in Anne!  CONGRATULATIONS on your good health report!!!!  Wahoo!!  We get you too!!!!  That's awesome!

Congrats on the good report Anne.  You have such a great attitude...I'm sure that helped in your fight.  Here's to many many many more healthy years of quilting.

Barbara, you are a true quiltaholic. Congrats.

Me, converted to Catholic? Yikes! That is scarey.

I think the new members are nuns, just gathering info and waiting to smack us with a ruler!

How cute, Sandy, I love all the funky houses.

Favorite Christmas movie? MMMM, I dunno. Someone pick for me, please.

I think they lied to you, Barbara, that doesn't sound easy. I think I remember that pattern, I love the black and white cat, see me with Big Boy. I miss that sweet cat. Used to meow my name. MyNana! Really.

Oh Anne, it's my inlaws anniversary, too! I miss them like I miss Big Boy. Best inlaws I could have ever dreamed up.

Anne, that must have been some battle for you! I am glad you are winning. My mom had cancer, I hate cancer. Take care of yourself, we love ya. Have a great day, birthday, snow, good news! Have some quilty time.

Morning Everyone.  It's April Fool's Day... It's Snowing..  My 1st borns' happy birthday.. The day looks gloomy...but, bright and happy for me.  All my results from Scan and doctor visits, are clean and perfect.  Two whole years of being cancer free..  a Battle of 10 or more years.  To all my friends and family here... take good care of yourself, and always think positive.  It works and you will get better.  We have too many UFO's to complete.. and one is a good life.  You all keep me laughing, and that too, is the best medicine.  Have a fun April Fool's Day..  BBL Anne
