Just catching up on the p[osts here. Love the prayer, Anne. It is so true that we have so many friends in this little box. Hope you are all safe and cozy with our wierd weather patterns. Exciting thaqt so many had a whilte Christmas. Maybe the cable TV should hold off on airing "White Christmas" next year.:-D

Had my Christmas dinner yesterday. No little ones here this year :-( But able to spend time with 2 brothers and nephew who has been training in the Marines & his GF. Had a great time watching 'Duh Bears' and talking. I agree that I need to get started on those gifties for next year sooner. Sure is fun to give them away.

I love that series of mysteries. I didn't know the Kindle would read to you. That's cool.

Good Morn'in All!  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!  Mary Agnes, you are in a lot of snow!  Anne, you too?  Are you all right???

From what I've read so far everyone enjoyed their holidays ~ some busy, some quiet.....  My kids came to visit with two of my grandkids which made my holidays very busy and jolly!  Nothing like watching children on Christmas morning with all the excitment and joy that event can hold!  It was wonderfully delightful!

I'm with you regarding preparation for next year.  Judy and I got together a week prior to Christmas and put together our sewing/quilting plan for 2011.  I started making a list of all the stuff I wanted to make for gifts for our next Christmas so I'm going to be so ready that I can enjoy my Christmas season without the worry of gifts.

Sounds like everyone had a wonderful Christmas.  We did here in snowy and cold Tennessee.  Has a great time with my 2 daughters, SIL, and 4 grandkids.  We all ate dinner together and then sat around the tree opening our gifts.  Today my 2 daughters and I had dessert and hot chocolate together and planned an evening out at the movies tomorrow night.  Then next week we do it all over again for the big family get together for New Years with more gifts.  Love the holidays!!

Anne, love the prayer.  It is kind of funny how we can get so close and really never see each other, but I sure do love my cyber friends.  Stay warm everyone.  I know many areas are getting major snow and cold weather.

Anne what a lovely prayer. I agree. I have so many new friends like you all that I would be lost without hearing from you or about you each day.

Our Christmas was very quiet as my daughter and little ones were not here.I got some quilting done on a mystery quilt from Bonnie Hunter's site.

This morning I decided to make pillowcases to match the quilt that I made for my daughter ansd son-in-law.

Friends are coming tomorrow. My daughter on Tues. and then my sister on Wed. for a week. Guess things will pick up then.

Hope you all have a great day.

I'm with you Froggie on starting for Christmas in January!!!

Oh how sweet, Anne!  I need all the prayers and blessings I can get.  I did so enjoy my Christmas with all my cyber friends and my family. I think that gave us a total of 40 of my family members that shared at the table here. So many of the kids go to in-laws to have lunch and this year there was quite a few that stayed home sick with "the crud".  One of the nieces actually wound up at the hospital with her 15 month old girl=prayers are needed as they get so scared when one gets sick, they lost lost their first child a few years back.

Thanks for the friendship and the blessings I receive each and every time I come here to visit with you all.  Thanks for the prayers and the sharing and caring.

Just received this e-mail.  Anne.

Every single evening
As I'm lying here in bed,
This tiny little Prayer
Keeps running through my head:

God  bless all my family
Wherever they may be,
Keep them warm
And safe from harm
For they're so close to me.

And  God, there's one more thing
I wish that you could do;
Hope you don't mind my asking,
Please bless my computer too.

Now I know that it's unusual

To Bless a motherboard,
But listen just a second
While I explain it to you, Lord.

You see, that little metal box
Holds more than odds and ends;
Inside those small compartments
Rest so many of my friends.

I know so much about them
By the kindness that they give,
And this little scrap of metal
Takes me into where they live.

By faith is how I know them
Much the same as you.
We share in what life brings us
And from that our friendships grew.

Please take an extra minute
From your duties up above,
To bless those in my address book
That's filled with so much love.

Wherever else this prayer may reach
To each and every friend,
Bless each e-mail Inbox
And each person who hits 'send'.

When you update your Heavenly list
On your own Great CD-ROM,
Bless everyone who says this prayer
Sent up to GOD.
