Marnie, tell your sis I said Hopppy birthday! we always have a lot going on, since Nov. is a high birthday month. Starts with DH on the 6th, my mom's was on the 15th, my FIL's was on the 27th, and my Dad is a twin, not to mention DD2 snuggled in between her two granddads on thanksgiving!
It sounds like it will be busy at Anne's house. Have fun with Barbara!
My turkey is wearing a quilt in the freezer so it doesn't get cold, Mari.
Dog house? I think I am ALWAYS in the dog house. Or is that Frog house? I forget.
Wow, Gayle, you really are busy. You and Anne. I'm still working on DGS2's quilt and thinking about finishing my placemats.

I am glad that we don't have a pet that requires a dog house. I would probably stay in it, I hate doing housework. I have been really busy doing quilts(lap size) for the great grandies for Christmas plus the ones for me. I have 4 or 5 wallhangings almost finished or finished. No time to talk, hurry...hurry...hurry.

RanchMom, I'd rather be in the Hen House too! ;-)

Like Ann my Turkey is not dressed either, I will do that Tuesday, I will start baking and what I can ahead of time this weekend but I will do most of the cooking Wednesday and then Thursday morning. I am trying to clean my house, I don't think I am as good a house keeper as I use to be, I tend to put things off now days would rather be in the henhouse then cleaning house.

Hi everyone. Sounds like everyone has been busy either in the kitchen or the sewing room. Love the placemats - I've got to try some. We are getting ready for the big turkey day. My DS1 is getting one smoked and my DD2 is roasting one like she did last year. It was so good. Then on Wednesday, my DS2 is coming over and helping me bake pies, etc. Then on Thursday, we'll probably have up to 30 people here and everyone is bringing a dish to pass. Fun, fun, fun. Always a great day when the family gets together.

I don't do the turkey, my sis does the turkey, cornbread dressing, pump pie & a killer rum cake. I do 3 dif. casseroles & choc cream pie. Other family members bring rice & beans, brocoli madness, sweet pot csrle and fruit pies. We usually have about 14 at dinner, can't wait!

Well, it is a little early for dressed turkeys but if their freezing don't you think they need a little something?? (cackle!)

Yeah, Anne! Just like a wonderful Mom! Be ready for everyone for the weekend! I love it!
