Oh well, Diane, tell Angus I tried and did the best I could for him. He is so cute that I thought the DH should want to build him a covered area so he wouldn't get wet. I guess everyone does not love pets at the same level, huh? Poor Angus!!!

Angus took 3 tries before he finally went out. Would step out on the deck, look at the rain then turn around and come back in. Let's just say that hubby is NOT building anything for that ---- dog to go pee under! He is a DOG.

Nanny Gayle, I love the covered p--bridge for our animals! They would love it. Yes, they are so spoiled, but that is ok. Diane, we probably don't want to know what your DH said!

Diane ~ cackle!!!!!

Froggie ~ I guess no matter where you live you can't get away from the elements. You just learn to adapt, right?!

Nanny Gayle ~ I think that's a brilliant idea; a covered bridge, walk way, etc. Our pets are so spoiled just like us! snicker!

Nanny Gayle I am going to let my husband read that e-mail! I might not type in his response though.

Diane, Froggie, maybe youall need to install a covered p--bridge so they can go out without getting their feetsies wet or their tops.

Oh Diane, I hope that never happens to me. Especially the volcano in OK. We only have a couple of baby mountains here.
You can install the cellar when you have your house built if you think about it early enough, or they can rip up your concrete and dig. The dirt in OK is really hard clay, it's hard to get a shovel to penetrate it. I think that is why we don't have basements.
Oh cool, at least I am not the only one singing or humming Christmas songs in May. I should hum, my singing isn't that great. I like your deaf friend. Poor Angus, having to go out in the rain. Our dog hated going out in the rain, didn't like his feet being wet, then he would realize he was getting wet from the top, too. Then he would run back in the house and try to rub all the wet off of him, all over the couch, carpet, bed. Aren't pets fun?

Good grief Froggie you are reminding me of the movie with Pierce Brosnan in that they had to drive the truck into the garage and drop into the hole so the tornado[or something] would blow over them. Now that I think about it maybe it was an erupting volcano but you get the picture. How do you install a cellar after a garage has been built? Why do you not have a basement? This inquiring mind would like to know.

Don't worry about singing Christmas songs I hum them all the time and actually forget I am doing it. Especially when I am at my sewing machine. I kept getting weird looks from the ladies at retreat. Except the one to my left because she was deaf.

Guess I better sign off poor little Angus needs to go out in the rain to go p__.

Yup, we get storms, tornadoes, winds, hail, whatever. Every spring and fall. Right in the middle of a bunch of houses that don't have basements. We have to have cellars installed. Lots of people are getting the cellars in their garage, with the door that slides, so you can still put your car over it. It's not standard with the house. Crazy, huh?
Weather should be good for a few days. Hopefully.
