Linda ~ YES, we did get snow yesterday! What a surprise!!! I was out in my little Fiona Fit yesterday and got caught in it. It took me 45 minutes to get home when it should have taken 15! Holy cow, we are wimps in snow here! My little Fiona did great though! She's awesome! Also, most of the snow is melted now. Ho hum.....

Also, I don't know how the pics of the members end up where they are. I didn't know they moved around either! I'll have to ask about that! Its another head scratcher!

Ohhh good idea, Anne, do you do counted cross stitch? That's what I see. words of wisdom- dont rip, think before you cut, look before you stitch, measure once cut twice. No, that can't be right. I like it though. New ideas for the new year, yeah, that's good. OK I better be hoppin outta here, I have to go to Daddy's because I didn't go last week and I don't want to go on New Year's Eve! That's my night for hiding out in the house. Yes, and go to bed early. I am such a party animal.
Gotta be hoppin' along!

Okay then! I'm with you. I never did like to repair any article of clothing. I like starting many new things...and enjoy the challenge of it. They may become UFO's , but I like to start. And, it's official then..We will rename the room down at the end of the hall....as soon as Barbara gets here, next visit...We will Christen it with Froggies blessings..
"The Quilting Room". I think I'll make some kind of banner, or wall hanging, with the new name on it...and then some favorite names, and words of wisdom on it..Oh! Oh! Here I go again...Where will I hang it? Where do I put it. Maybe, on the door? I can see it now...The juices are running..All new ideas..We are going to have a Happy New Year..and a must, a Healthy One. Talk a little later. Anne

OK Mari, can you tell me how the pictures of group members get arranged? I noticed mine moves, and people that don't post much are ahead of my picture. Is it a random move, or is there a method to CT's madness????

OK, Anne, I officially change the name of your sewing room to The Quilt Room. This means no darning, mending, or bad things like that. Ugh. I hate mending. Always have. You are right, Francine, the definition of family and friends IS quilters. I love it.
I see that Mari finally got her snow. It snowed 2" in Portland. I hope you are getting around OK, Mari, since you don't get much snow, you are like us, and don't have very good snow removal. Well, work from home, drink lots of cocoa and coffee, and stay warm and safe.

Also, Happy Birthday to Quilt With Us! How cool, one year. How much fun this site has been. I remember I got an e mail about the group Southern Stars BOM with Kristin. I got my blocks finished, but still haven't completed the top. Put that on my list for finishing in 10! The year, not minutes. lol.

Hot cocoa. What a good idea - my daughter put the tea kettle on, so we can have some. I am cold, so thought that turning on the fireplace and having a cup of hot chocolate would hit the spot. We're watching "Father of the Bride." Nothing like hot chocolate with friends on a cold winter's night. Enjoy. Kit

may I ????????????? - Linda and Anne - I tell you it wouldn't be the same here without both of you - same as all the others - if someone had to right the definition of family of friends that is how it should be written...... quilters

Linda I love reading you. It's a wonderful on-going story. I have a sewing room that I go to, but, you..you go to your quilt-room...How nice is that? And that's a warm feeling all over. With your permission, May I change the name of my sewing room to "The quilt room"? I can"t wait to tell my friend Barbara about this idea..I know, she's going to flip out with excitement. We're staying warm...DH just fixed me a nice hot cup of coffee. and we just finished watching (On World) a documentary of Virginia Lee Burton..Author of "Little House" Really nice story. Now we have to go to the book store and get some more of her books...for all our children friends, and grandchildren to read when they visit us. Nite, nite all. Anne

Anne, you crack me up-DSanta. OK I am getting more snow, but it's much colder where you are.
I didn't get any CT gift certificates. Oh poor little froggie.
I am cold, I keep telling myself to go make some cocoa.
Francine, I saw your cushion, I think it looks like the 'quillow' pattern. But different. You know, the same thing but different. I am going to check it out again, and make me one, I could use that. And maybe make some gifts for next year. Last night, I couldn't sleep, so I went into the quilting room, and thought up a bunch of gifts for next year! We will see what happens. Everyone remember to ask me next year.
I hear the microwave calling my name. And the packet of cocoa. Which flavor will I choose? Decisions, decisions.
