Froggie, I agree with Lynne that you should go ahead and buy 2 or even 3 totes so that you will have to buy extra kits to fill them up because we all know that any good quilters that has empty totes is not worth her salt.

Wow Lynne, sounds like you are truly into Christmas decorating. I'd love to have multiple trees but would end up doing all the decorating myself. Hoping this year the family will get into it at Thanksgiving. Either way, I'm gonna decorate whether they like it or not :-D.
Good luck with the house hunting, Trevi. Be sure you get a BIG craft and sewing room.
Who needs totes when we have boxes and bags and shelves and closets and drawers, etc.,etc.,etc....

My whole apartment complex is being renovated due to Hurricane Ike damage. We were supposed to temporarily move to another apt in the complex while our unit was re-done & then move back. Thought we had until Jan or Feb for the move. Found out it will happen B4 Christmas. We had decided to buy a house instead of staying here. Now time is critical. Don't know how long it will take to find & close on a house!

Sandy I agree with Froggie! Put the challenges online so we can follow along too!
Froggie, buy 2 more totes and that way you can buy more kits that you have to make! I have a ton of things in baskets and on the shelves that I AM going to get to someday!
Barbara, we are going to Florida for Christmas with my family this year. DH asked if I was going to decorate for Christmas and I said Yes, WE were going to. He does not like having to haul everything in from the shed, but I love decorating for Christmas too much. I am worse than a kid in a candy store! I have stuff in every room of the house and I have some type of tree in the rooms. My kids groan when they come for Thanksgiving dinner because you can hardly get through the garage and into the house. But they love it when it's done. I have one box that is all the different things they made throughout the years and one tree is decorated with all those ornaments. It brings back a lot of memories from when they were little and someday they will get them back to put on their own trees.

I was just looking at that pattern yesterday, Barbara. I love it. I love the fabrics they used.
Oh that would be fun, Sandy, put the challenges online so we can participater, too.
I'm glad you didn't get blown away, Kit. Those tornadoes are really fierce!
Trevi, where are ya moving to? I just don't remember. Did someone hide my ginko again?
CT has a bunch of kits on sale, I was browsing, there are lots that i would like to make, then I think of the tote crammed full of kits I really wanted to make too. What's a quilter to do? Buy another tote maybe!

Thanks Elizabeth. I'm getting back into Christmas this year. Had a sabbatical last year as I spent it with my sis hundreds of miles from my home. Didn't decorate at all at home. Now I'm chomping at the bit to get the season started.

Love the table topper Barbara!

Hi Barbara,
Love your tree skirt. It makes me wish we still did Christmas. Since we downsized into a little condo, I gave all my Christmas decorations to my children for safekeeping. We had EVERYTHING - the village, the train on tracks around the tree, homemade decorations by the kids and me, quilted stockings for everyone, and a dorky old artificial tree. Now, we don't have room for even a table tree.

Barbara, love the table topper, it is a cutie. I have that mag so I guess I just might have to mark that one also.

Barbara that is so NICE.The illusion of hexagons really takes my fancy,I am busy with a hand pieced floating hexagon pattern but as the log diamonds are biggish I may have to jump this onto my to do list.I do not have a table but who cares eh?
