Nanny, those pillowcases are sooo easy - once I had printed instructions. I have made 50 of them for our bazaar. I've taken some pictures and need to post them. Kit

You girls are just too much. I just loving reading the posts and I got such a good laugh this rainy morning in Tennessee. I received my CT order with the Sew Special book. Great book. I want to make almost every project.

Scraps - I know what you mean. I have been making scrappy quilts, squares for a PL project, table runners, etc. using what I already have. And I still have scraps and scraps from the scraps that I am using in the projects. They do multiply.

Well I am off to the sewing room. I have to finish a quilt for a challenge and I have to have it completed by Friday. Well have fun and I'll be back. Kit

I want a pair also. But what I really want is for someone to tell me where I lost that darn tutorial for the "hot dog pillowcases". I think I waant to try my hand at them and now I cannot locate the instructions.

Oh Froggie, I'm being facitious. I might be sniffing fabric - mmmmm, love that stuff! Hey, that's a great idea, a scrap tote!!! I'm gonna do that!

MaryAgnes ~ your post sent me into a rip-roaring laugh!

Mari: I stand corrected. I, too, lost track of the resolution part of New Year's. I was thinking of frivolity and mayhem and self indulgence. Oh, I'm talking about me, not you and Froggie. And, yes, I do remember parochial school. It gives me hives to think about it, but I can't help but remember.

Wild upbringing, Mari? What are you smokin' today? Or sniffin? Fabric? I don't know anything about some of these new years, but am willing to learn. If they make it so my New Year's resolutions only last until the next new year, then I am all for it. I am going to get busy making a sign for my scrap tote, it will say-New Year's resolution scraps. Or something more catchy if anyone can think of something clever.
I haven't been in the quilt room since Sunday, maybe this evening!
Happy quilting!
