My husband has a clock shop so I have seen clocks like that in the catalogs.

Pepper I know what you mean about Snowmen they kind of grow on you.

I have been a good girl and have been sewing today on my tote for Summer School. I hope to have it done with a picture by Monday. Then I will be able to do Jan and Feb gifty projects. O boy.

Dee,my cousin has a clock like that and I love it.Have never seen one in any store tho. When I can't get there she calls me up so I can hear it.
I have tons of snowmen, they follow me home from everywhere and they stay up till I am tired of them and that can be different every year.I have some wooden ones that stayed up all year in my other house.

Hi Kids. Everyone sounds, happy. Is that because it's Christmas year round in our homes. We still haven't put all our Decorations away, yet. Yesterday, I went out and got some cookie cutters for St. Patricks Day, and Easter. Bunnies, tulips, butterflies, shamrocks...Now, I'm thinking springtime, too. Happy Valentines Day to all. Love ya, Anne

I got my order yesterday and my Sew Necessary book and the Cider Mill book came. I saw all kinds of cute stuff I would like to make. Oh I guess I'd better get back to working on my Tote for Summer School. I want to make the mug cozies for Valentines Day and the kitchen towel for March Oh I am having sooooooooooooo much fun, DH wonders when I will be caught up on my sewing so I will want to do something else, I haven't told him it will be never because I keep find different things to do.

I leave my Snowmen decorations up until after Valentines and also my outside wreath. I also leave my tree up until the middle of January. Much to my families dismay. I put up the tree and decorations they do not like to help, but start Thanksgiving day with "When are you going to put up the Tree?" So I tell them it is alot of work to decorate for christmas and put up the tree. I want to make sure it is up long enough to make it worth my while.lol

Hi Everyone. I'm glad to see some other people like Christmas too. I have a clock that plays a different Christmas carol each hour. I enjoy it because Christmas carols are happy sounds to me so I have left it up for 2 years. I live alone so there is no one to complain. My little dog doesn't care one bit. So do what you can and be happy.
Mari, these "little gifts" are great. They are a nice thank you or what ever you want it to be and it doesn't take forever to make. I think I always got so frustrated before because I always tried to do projects that took a lot of time that I didn't have. Now I can say thank you or whatever more often to a lot more people and still have some sanity to my life. Thanks!
Love and Hugs, Dee

Ok, Froggie, how you have changed. Explain the change, please.

I didn't get to quilt today, but I did hear a lot of the purring of the sewing machine as I labeled many, many lovely blankets. I do have the kit for Summer School, so will be working in class with everyone this time instead of just auditing the class.

They say it is supposed to snow here starting around midnite, but it's not supposed to be as bad as the one last week. The kids just got back to school on Wednesday. Right now it's just raining, but there is an advisory. We'll see. Kit

Oh THAT Devon! lol. Yeah, silly me, I have heard of it. I still like ghosts. ANd I love that you have three Christmas cross-stitches hanging around! One year I missed putting up a small Christmas item, and after that, I decided to leave something out on purpose every year. I guess this year, it's my cross stitch! I am still trying to finish DD2's Christmas Precious Moments cross stitch for 2009. Ugh. Soon as I finish it, I will have to start on her Christmas Precious Moments cross stitch for 2010. Those take me a long time, they are very detailed, I think. Plus right now, I am almost out of color 209, and need a lot more of it. I use DMC floss, and there's only a couple of stores that carry it. I guess I have to find that tomorrow, and some hand towels! Then I will be set. They say we are supposed to get more snow, so I will be stitchin' away during the snow. YEah, snow, DD1 is in Baltimore, they have gotten pummelled with snow today. Oh I guess she is in Silver Spring at her fiancee's house. Anyway, I think they have had a foot of snow today. She just sent me a pic. Yuck snow.
Hoppy quilting!
