Girls you can't have the only claim to allergies! Mine is to the stupid poplar trees that has all that beautiful white fluff. I also am to have the windows shut and the air conditioning on. It is 5 degrees today. Who on earth wants air on when it's that COLD. I'll be O.K. after Father's Day then it starts up again when they start harvesting for 2 months. Getting old SUCKS!

Oh Nanny Gayle, I think the wormies must be where the pollen is. I am still battling the cottonweed. I bet that Tin Lizzie is a good machine, but probably takes a lot of work to learn. Tell your DH to stay well. be sure to take a pic of a good back when you get one finished! Show us the back with no loopies. WOOHOO!
I'm just bored today, don't want to be at work, getting ready to go to lunch with my buddy Cindy. We used to go all the time, but have gotten out of it. It will be fun. It will be a great break for the day. Then off to Daddy's to see what trouble he has gotten into this week.
So, no quilting today.

Well Nanny, take your time. You have the rest of your life to learn how to operate it! Don't know much about Tin Lizzie although have seen it in magazines. I'm pretty sure that's a tension issue though. Good luck with that!

Oh Mari, my granddaughter told that the loopies wouldn't bother her cause she wants that "Purple" Quilt. I won't let her have it like that though.
I got myself a "Tin Lizzie" for b'day and haven't gotten the hang of it yet. It is almost a year old and I am still fighting it. The DH has been in hospital twice for at least a week each time and then of course you have to put in for his recoup time. I just haven't given it my all.

Yeah, I am from the south down here and the pine trees and the pecan trees both make me go crazy. I think it is those little yellow wormie things they produce just before the good stuff on the pecan trees.

Oh yeah, sometimes allergists are nutty. Good thing I am taking allergy shots, or the cottonwood would really be driving me nuts. I would probably have a sinus infection by now. That PNW mold and mildew used to drive me nuts. Pepper, tell your allergist you want another option. Even with the house closed up, it still affects you.

Oh, Pepper, how awful. I won't stay inside either. I need sun! And, I'm going to get sun! Oh, allergies, what to do, what to do............

Thats o.k.Mari you have the right to.Spring and summer are my favorite times but I am allergic to all grasses and weeds and lots of other outside stuff. My allergist wants me to stay inside with all the doors and windows shut.I do that all the long winter I refuse to do that now so I suffer.

Oops, sorry for the complaining!

Nanny, I've had that problem with my longarm and found most of the time its the way I had threaded the machine. That is, I missed a tension or during quilting the thread popped out of a tension. OMG, it is so disappointing to see that on the back. Its not bad taking out with all those loops but very irritating.

Froggie I feel your pain!!!! The rain is my nemesis cuz it causes so much mildew and mold. It is pouring here right now and I feel like I'm drowning. My sinuses over produce in this weather. My head hurts and my face hurts............ aaaarrrrrggggghhhhhh.
