Good morning. I really slept in this AM. It's snowing a little but I don't think it's going to be near as bad as they were predicting.I'm staying home though.

The birds are fed, the cats are fed and I am fed. I have bear parts ready to trim and sew together. My fake fur idea didn't work so well in the hoop. I could probably make tem[lates and do thhat on the regular machine. Or I may just make big fluffy pillows ( hippy 60s style)

Hope you find the microwave you want, Froggie. Is the old one part of the range hood? Mine is so old and big. I've thought of getting a smaller one.

Alice do you have a picture of your yard? It must be pretty large with those pecan trees. It's good that he wanted those old nuts. i hope he knows that they aren't that good. Too bad you had to supervise.

Your crocus are up already Kim? That's cool. I don't think anything is brave enough to peak out around here yet.

My daffodils out front are the same, Kim. I haven't looked for the day lilies though. They are on the side of the house. A couple people in my neighborhood were out raking yesterday, like spring clean up. Getting the stuff they missed at the end of last year when winter came too early.

I don't have room for a microwave on my counter so we got a separate cart for it. If we didn't always have a toaster oven out I could probably have room for a small microwave on the counter but it would really hog up a lot of counter surface. My house was built in 1945. They weren't thinking microwave space back then!

It's 37 here. Supposed to start snowing by the evening. Who knows. They are also predicting up to a foot of snow for Thursday. I'll believe it when I see it.

I guess it's just us three this morning . . . Bill paying is next!

I didn't see any, Thel. I will have to work on that. He's so boring, that's why. He's no fun sometimes. I am going to call Lowe's and cancel today, then stop by somewhere and get a countertop microwave. I will have to redo all my countertops. What I have, it's sure a small kitchen. A lot of wasted space, I think.

I think that kid wanted something a bit stronger than water to drink, Alice. that's too bad that you have to watch every move. I wouldn't hire him or trust him either. What good does it do you to have a yard man if you have to stay outside all day and watch him?

Mama had crocus, Kim! I didn't get any because it didn't come up very often, and I didn't want to dig up a big patch to find a bulb or two. Grandma is turning green, and the trees are getting that fuzzy stuff. I don't know about my day lilies and iris. I should go check.

I'm going to sit and sew today. I have a lot of stuff I put in that big tote, so I think I am set for the day. I need to go to Hobby Lobby and get one skein of DMC floss, and probably to Best Buy or Lowe's to get a microwave. I will try and do that before sit and sew. It's hard to do in the afternoon, I just want to be home when I pack up and leave B Sew Inn.

Good morning, cloudy out this morning with some rain coming this afternoon through tomorrow. Temperatures are in the 40's already this morning. I don't think they actually dropped much overnight.

I see the crocus are blooming in my Dad's yard already. Very early this year. Some of my daffodils are up 6-8 inches already. They are way ahead of schedule this year. Also just starting to see the day lilies breaking through the ground also.

I'm working this morning and then should be home the rest of the day.  Not much else going on around here.

Well, I better get ready to start the day.

Have a great day...

Hello all!  What a party!  Just getting home, took the scenic route--LOL.  Hope you had a wonderful birthday Carol Ann, and that Froggie had a wonderful anniversary.

Was up this morning and looked outside.  Figured I REALLY needed to get out there and do something. So I got the weed whacker and whacked weeds, then started raking, then one of the local dropouts stopped by asking me if I was going to pick up pecans.  Told him no.  He asked if he could have them, I told him yes as long as he picked up the mess that makes.  Result, I was outside all morning long till about 1:30pm.  The kid only did one tree, and he called it quits.  But I had to be out there and watch him the whole time, as this is the kid who's broken into homes and stolen stuff.  So he doesn't have my trust.  He asked for more yard work, I told him I'd start irrigating mid March or so.  But I really think I'll hire a yard man that brings his own equipment, as I might end up losing my equipment with this kid.  I think that was mostly determined by the fact that I gave him a bottle of water, he packed up everything, and left the bottle of water mostly full out in my front parking area.  He lost serious brownie points there!

I'm off to rest these achy shoulders and back.  My yard looks pretty good for Friday's party.

I vote for buying a cheap countertop microwave Froggie.  Treat it gently and return it when you get your new built in delivered.  OR sell it cheap on the swap shop.   When mine croaked I was lost!  I found a gently used one on swap shop for 20 bucks exactly the same as my dead one.    It's doing what it needs to.

Did I tell you I have a leaders meeting tonight at 6pm.   Oh well,  going out in the rain AGAIN.   I haven't accomplished any of my housework yet today!

Not everyone does, but I shower after the pool and it's still a pain to dry off.  I think part of that is cause it's chilly in the locker room not warm and cozy like it is at home.

Aww,  what a neat little surprise in your French toast.   Ohh,   I wanna see the kitty faces!   That'll be neat.   What a great thing to do with all the kits you won't use.  Boy what a stash to pick through.

I looked on Google Maps to check out where you live Kim.  I'm envious.  I'd love some ocean time,  I really would.

Kitty Baby wants to sleep on the desk.  Penny has her nest on the desk and there's plenty of room for a few cats too but she doesn't want Baby nearby.  She sure can hand out a stink eye when she wants to.  She cracks me up.

Oh no !  Restless sleep for you this week Kim.  I hope nothing crazy happens to anyone.

Did you see your Fainting Goats Froggie.   I don't understand why Mr. B was having a spasm about it.

Comment by Linda Froggie Quilter (Okla) on Monday

Don't you just love a new computer, Kathleen? I bet it's nice and fast.

Thanks to everyone for good wishes on our anniversary. We just may make a go of this thing. And they all said it wouldn't last.

Yum, I need to make beans, Kathellen! And some cornbread with loads of butter. THat needs to happen soon, before beans season is over. I crack me up.

I like to make HST's oversized and trim too, Barbara. It may take longer, but my HST's were always turning out too small. I saw those Kimberbears, too. I don't think I will make any. I made enough furr animals when the girls were little. I made Myra's DGS1 a big pig one year. I don't know why, but I just did. And I bet it cost a lot to ship it too. He loved it, she said he wore it out. One year not too long ago, I found the pattern and gave it to her for Christmas. That sure was a fun party at Carol Ann's house, I sure did eat my fair share of cake! Those slices were huge, and that vanilla bean ice cream was so gooooood.

I don't know why he wasn't cleaning up after himself, but the kitchen is clean now. Both boys are usually good about that.

DAGGUM IT! Mr. B just went to You Tube and I told him I wanted to watch fainting goats! He said no, TWIT. Yuck. THis week in Tech. I don't understand any of it. The same guy does Windows Weekly, I understand that one, it's more functional than technical.

No,  we haven't gotten another dog yet, Thel, DGS1 brought his dog, Thunder, or StinkButt, as I call him. He can't leave his dog in the house alone, you know! THe dog behaves when DGS1 is here. He loves on the dog a lot. I agree, the fan doesn't do a thing if Chocolate is in the living room, looking out the window. I like your shades. What a great idea. Wet skin after swimming is different from wet skin after a shower. I haven't had peanut butter and honey for a long time, yummy.

I agree, it was a gorgeous day, Carol Ann. Yuck, good idea, I wouldn't want to eat wax either. Yuck again. I bet that french toast was good, I haven't had any for a long time.

what a busy day! Doc cut off Mr. B's big bump on his head, and then we went to Applebee's for lunch. I am still stuffed! Then we went to Lowe's to order a new microwave. They have to come out and measure the hole themselves, then I can order it. I think they have been burned too many times. THen to Walmart, to get a few things I didn't get at the commissary. We are going to have more nachos for dinner. I boguth a big bag of cheese. I hope it lasts a day or two. We don't use it much right now, but when we do, we need a lot.

Does everyone know what a pain it is, not having a microwave? This one just quit. And just how do you heat up your frozen dinners? And Nutrisystem meals? We are using the stove and oven again. I crack me up.

I think I need to get out of these clothes, I am getting uncomfortable! I need to get back on my weight loss, I have gained 7 pounds back. Either lose or just decide I am going to be fat! ANd what a waste of the last year if I decide the latter. Grrrr. I think I willl sit here and drink my wine, and wait until after i have my nachos to make that decision. Oh and how do you heat up nachos? Oven again maybe? Oh I am in big trouble.

Well I decided to just do a few errands and then stopped at a local grocery store to get my coffee creamer. It's to nice outside to spend it in the car.

I think I may try to do a little work on my CCS today. I ordered another Halloween CCS for my son that I think he will really like. I need to get cracking of these.

We are on ambulance squad this week at night starting today.

That's to funny Thel. It is hard to put on clothes when your still wet.
