Welcome to Gifty Galore 2016!

Our new Gifty Galore Christmas project season begins July 18th this year and runs through December 19th! And, Anita is back with more wonderful designers!

We are using the book, Fast, Fun, and More Gifty. It is compiled and written especially for us! Our newest Gifty book is the best ever for preparing a gift-giving extravaganza. There are even MORE small and quick projects. Hey, you'll be able to use the projects in this book all year long!

Get ready… prepare your sewing space, oil the machine, and finish up any UFOs because you’re going to be busy! I challenge you to keep up with us!

  1. Time frame is from July 18th - December 19th, 2016 for the weekly projects.
  2. Please post all project questions on Notions where you will find the complete blog. All information is kept together there for reference later and It's much easier to find!

Carol Lee, thanks for the offer of an extra husband(s), but no thanks. One is plenty....more than plenty! That spare time thing is already an issue now, I can only imagine it after retirement!

Carol Lee: Sorry, no sale. You've convinced me I'm lucky to be single.

Linda - It's a mug cozy but diaper works too. Well on second thought a mug diaper doesn't sound very appetizing. I don't know who I am going to give it to. Maybe to me!

This is for Linda and Mary. Girls, I hate to burst your bubbles, but you do not have extra time for quilting when you retire, because your significant others retire also and they think they were put on earth to tell you what you should be doing with all of your "spare" time! I not only live with my retired husband, but my retired, partially disabled brother lives next door too. So, I have twocrabby, grumpy old geezers telling me what to do with my time. Do any of you need a husband or boyfriend. I have two I will give away free of charge. Shoot, I might even pay you! Carol

Hi, I haven't written on here lately but have been reading all the messages - certainly keeps me entertained. I'm also waiting for my books. I had a message saying they were shipped on the 6th but not here yet - maybe they're coming by actual snail mail :). In the meantime I've finished one UFO and have another half done that I'm really enjoying - not sure why I let it sit around for a year or so. Happy quilting everyone.

Linda: It's so nice to know an accountant with a sense of humour.

Oh, Mary, I understand having parents of the depression! I still deal with one of them all the time. That's a very cool story of how you became a lawyer like you wanted to do when you were a kid. But I also wonder when I can stay home and quilt all day. Probably not for a long long time. And how did you get out of getting a DH? You know I am only kidding, right?????
I am slackin because I am still waiting for my book to arrive. So in the meantime, I am working on my Beatles quilt for my friend. The baby is going to arrive tomorrow. Why do they always schedule these things now? Plus it's a boy. Why do we know that before he arrives? And whatever happened to cloth diapers? Well, I never....
I love your coffee mug quilt. Cozy. Diaper. What did you call it?
I better go look for my brain now, it seems to have left me again.
Don't take me too seriously, cuz this is the fun stuff!
Happy quilting!

Hee, hee! That's funny Carol! Yea, its easier than you think. If I can post pics anyone can and I wrote the directions too!!!! I was so ignorant when it came to techy things like that! I have learned a lot in the last 6 months! Good luck!
