Cool! It worked! So, that was my fall table topper and below you will see the gingerbread set that I made for my youngest son for Christmas. On to more projects now!

So I am trying to upload an image. If it doesn't work, you will have to go to my page to see my latest projects.

I modified these 2 little jewelry cases from the free 12 weeks of Christmas for my daughter and her friend. She wanted a case to carry her "personals" in and as soon as I saw it, I knew this was it. I made it a little longer to be able to put a pleat in the bottom so it could expand.

Linda, you're beautiful.. You keep putting a smile on my face...every time I read your msgs. Great! Had a nice day even tho it was windy and cold out there. Rain coming tomorrow. I'm waiting, also, for my books to come in the mail...I will be sewing like a mad-woman. Have to say "Goodnight" be back to see you in the morning. Love ya, Anne

Oh Mari, I didn't sew the buttons on tonight. Maybe in the morning before she comes over. Gotta be careful about that. I like your FQ idea, I think I will try it. With the fusible fleece stuff. Yeah.
Paula,
I like it anytime I don't have to spend time at the mall. Ugh. I hate going to the mall.
I have some cute fabrics for the 'hold everything'. I have a red fabric with a beige button motif, and a beige/brown fabric that looks like piles and piles of buttons. I think I will use those fabrics. Now if I can cut that circle and get it sewed on right. Can I make mine square?
Hoppy quilting!

I can't wait for my pretty little presents book to get here so i can make those great hold everything bags. I have finished 7 pocketbooks with wallets. I will post tomorrow. I have also made basket inserts for my daughters new house addition. Tomorrow I am working on pillows for her window seat. Seems like we are all workinghard on gifts. Isn't great not too have too spend money and time at the mall!

Oh Froggie, you are so funny! Can't wait to see that f-f quilt! I think if you used the fusible interfacing, the fleece/batting version, that will give you all the stiffness you need. I also think quilting it will give it additional strength. Good idea! I would quilt two FQ's together first, then cut it out. Hey, how about cross hatching??? that would be cute!!

Mari, Yes, believe it or not, the flip flop quilt is done. But I still have to sew the buttons on, so I will take a pic when I finish the buttons. I even have the label sewed on.
I have a question about the 'Hold Everything'. Nanny Gayle has gotten me ready to make some of these. I want to use a cotton fabric, like quilting cotton, so if I use the fusible fleece, will that stiffen it up enough? I also thought about quilting through the layers, like straight stitches from the bottom to the top. Or if I feel really wacky, top to bottom.
Hoppy quilting!

The hold everything bags look real neat! I disapeared into my sewing room yesterday...doing some applique. Wow..It really pulls you right in. Working on an angel...
Today..going to L.L.Bean to pick up some slider sleds, for my little friends that come to visit us on Christmas. Be back later tonight..Be good everyone...please stay well. Anne
