Now I am! (snicker!) Had a friend over for dinner last night and she brought a bottle of wine (yum!). Now, I'm not much of a drinker and one glass is plenty for me. So, needless to say I slept very well last night and this morning, I turned the alarm off, rolled over and went back to sleep. I got here 1/2 hr late but I feel great!

Well, we had quiet an afternoon. Went out to Vote,,,May the best gal win! then to the Jo-Anne..to purchase some fusible fleece. Went to Staples..needed some ink...and ended up buying a couple of chairs..One for me and one for DH. Had to stop at Wal-Mart for a couple of items. Next to Barnes and Noble...Of Course I got 3 books, One is a gift for a five year old, with a stuffed toy..a kitten. And DH got some for himself..with his gift card. One more stop at Market Basket...very quickly picked up only things that were on the list...now we were getting tired. Got into the car and came home. It was snowy, rainy, and damp. Glad to be in now...ready to do some quilting. All is well. Anne

Wow, busy lady! I know what you mean. I have had to get my business paperwork in order too and I can tell you I would much rather have quilting stuff all over my sewing table than business paperwork!!! Yuck & ugh!

Thanks everyone for the nice comments on my needle holder. I spent the holiday doing laundry and quilting, made a little gift bag from a CT pattern "Emilie's Gift Bags" designed by Darlene Jewell-Walhood. Cut the blocks for Ribbon Candy Table Runner from the "Lets Do Lunch" book, started to sew them and I am finishing up an UFO for my January Challenge almost done with it have the binding 1/2 hand sewn on.

Today I need to work on the books for the Ranch so everything will be ready for the Accountant in a few weeks. I would rather be sewing or working on fixing up the hen house so I can get my quilting out of the middle of the living room. Makes me want to sew all the time.

Hi Dee. the bobbin winder, is okay. It's good, when you don't want to change anything on the sewing machine. I still use my sewing machine, and wind up 2 or more bobbins, at a time. Anne

I'm here Froggie. Not for long though. I have a quilt top to piece tonight and it has applique! So, gotta run!

Anne, how do you like your bobbin winder? Is it worth the money? What is the advantages over just using your machine to wind the bobbins?
Love and Hugs, Dee

Hi everyone. Just came in to check things out. DD was here this afternoon...Wanted me to help her put squares together for her quilt. She's using White on white, and black and white prints. With 3 or 4 red prints, here and there. She was happy when she was leaving. She tried out the new sewing machine....and loved it. Borrowed and took home my bobbin winder....and a smile on her face. She was going home to sew for the rest of the day. I love it when this happens. She also, commented .. that she can't wait for the day that she can retire...and do the projects as I am doing. Loved the tote kit ... and the fabric. Had a nice visit with her .. as usual. Froggie, how much have you done on your tote? Talk again later. Anne
