Diane, it's so good to hear you are doing better and you haven't lost your sense of humor. I worked on Christmas presents all weekend but I can't post them because certain people I know look at this and it would ruin the surprise. Oh, Mari will probably want PROOF that I actually made any gifts, won't she? Only 52 days and 17 hours until Christmas!

Hi Everyone, I finished doing chickens...all of them. Kit, I got my copy of the chicken from Barb D from Maine. I have seen it on the web sites but do not remember which one.Search under quilters for Barb D and she will be glad to share. I would send it to you but I don't know how. I can scan it but don't know how to get thru to you.
Welcome to the gang Charity. Go up top on this page and search thru and see what and which book you need to make it.
Froggie I am glad you had a good time. I wish I could have gone with you also.
Diane it sure is good to hear your voice on here. We do miss you and we will all keep praying for your healing. Follow all the Dr's orders and you should be well and able to dance again any day now.

Welcome Charity, lots of ideas here, the Pretty little presents book is great. And go to the holiday shopping section for great deals on Fabric.

Oh, Diane. That is just awful. Please get better soon. Take those happy drugs and follow the doctor's orders. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Linda, what a wonderful trip. Sounds like you had a real good time. I know that you are tired out - I'm tired just reading about it, but just know you had fun.

Nanny - I love those adorable chickens. Where did you get the pattern? They are just so cute. I can think of several people to make them for.

Tomorrow, I am going to sew. I haven't sewn in a week. I feel like I am having withdrawal symptoms. I have so much to get done.

Have a great evening. Kit

Paula,
I wish I could have taken you, Mari, Gimp Diane, and the whole gang with me! It would have been double fun.
Diane,
All I can say is OUCH! Like Carol said, don't do that again. I bet that was horrible for you. Just keep taking your happy drugs. We all love and miss you too, let us know what is happening with you. Do your therapy, it has really helped my back.
Mari, do we get another project tomorrow?

Hoppy quilting!

I am joining your group at the last minute gift ideas for Christmas. Yesterday was Halloween and today all the stores are decorated for Christmas. I guess Thanksgiving is the "black sheep" of the holidays family.

Diane, so very good to hear from you! What a terrible thing to happen - you shouldn't do that anymore. I am praying for a quick recovery. Take it easy and LISTEN to the doctors.

Hi Ladies they have given me a day pass! I slipped on snow dislocated my L. hip and somehow fracttured my pelvis by pushing it in and not out!. Therefore had to be sent to Edmonton where there was a Dr. that was willing ti try and repair it. So I now have a bone graft. 3plates and a few screws holding it in place. i can not put any weight on it for 8 weeks the nI am looking at extensive therapy.i am on a lot of happy drugs though!!!!
They are undecided as to whether to keep me in the hospital for the 8 weeks or to let me heal at home. I of couse would like to be a home/
Anyway my wacky drugs are kicking in so I must say good bye.
Love and miss you all. Diane
