  1. Time frame is from July 18th - December 19th, 2016 for the weekly projects.
  2. Please post all project questions on Notions where you will find the complete blog. All information is kept together there for reference later and It's much easier to find!

Hi Carol, you are correct, the patterns aren't included here.

However, this site is intended to give you ideas for quick and easy gifts, and there is no cost to join and no obligation to buy, so you don't have to drop out. You can get ideas here, then look through your own books and patterns, or search the web for free similar versions and get a jump start on the holidays!

Hi Mari, I am new to this group and would like to clarify how I think it works. This site will not have the patterns for the projects on file, but will give us the names of the books they are in, so we can purchase them. Is this correct? If so, I may have to drop out as I am on a fixed income. Carol

Linda Bazemore: Anything you want to know about Catholic traditions as per the nuns, ask me. First I had grammar school with Sisters of Charity, then high school with Sisters of St. Joseph and finally college with the Sisters of St. Dominic. By the time I got to graduate school I'd decided enuff is enuff so I went to Yeshiva University, so ask me about Jewish traditions too.

Karen, How kind of you to catch Diane's order and slip in her book. I can only imagine the savings on shipping for her.
Diane, I am glsd you took a little time off from making those cinnamon rolls to place that order. I haven't found the recipe for those aforementioned rolls on the pages or groups here.
Linda Bazemore, You sound like you are what my Mom called me, "Instigator", LOL I always told her it was fun to laugh than to cry.
Judy, I want to be the book keeper.

Karen,
You are a sweetie. Adding Diane's book to her order.
Mari,
I just don't know about Catholic traditions, and sometimes have a need to know new things. I am glad the nuns were nice to you, I just can't imagine you acting up in class! Not me for sure, I was the shy quiet girl in the corner. What happened to me??? Well, it looks like it's almost time to pick up DD at the airport.
Everyone have a safe and happy 4th!
Happy quilting!

Diane, email me your order number and I'll see if we can catch it. Chances are it won't ship until Monday because of the holiday and we can try.

Judy,Laraine,Mari HELP. Is there anyway I can add the book to my order that I placed yesterday?
Comment by Judy/WA on July 2, 2009 at 10:31pm
Just so you know I sound like a book thief. I'm not. I like to think of myself as the "keeper" of our books in our department.
That's right Suzie-Laraine can take it. She usually follows the groups so it is nice to see her here.
Wow, Diane, you have a lot of Art to Heart books. They are all great. I love the Apple Cider one and her new I Believe book. I have been looking at those apple placemats. Now I may need to make them for a gift for myself.

Thanks Laraine for the heads up on the book just after I placed an order!

Yes it is a little coolr here. I think. Our temp. is in Celsius and I have totally forgotten Farenheit now. I do have C/A but we didn't have to use it. My cinnamon buns 3 doz. never made it to the market. I stopped at the hair salon and they bought me out!I had a few cheesecakes left but when I got home there were a few teenage boys here and they disappeared in minutes. Have fun all.

The projects Mari has lined up are so cute. I think the variety will insure everyone is able to find something they want to try. And then seeing pictures when someone completes a project will help keep us motivated.

If you're unsure how to add a picture check out the Gifty Galore Guidelines--Mari's provided instructions. Then we can all ooh and ahh over all the fun things.

Suzie! sure, I can take it but what did I do? (adjusting halo) I'm being framed...I'm innocent, I tell you! (wink, wink)

Diane - It's close to 90 here today. I can't imagine turning the oven on and baking in this heat. Is it cooler at your house?
