Ladies ~ I lost my photo window above, temporarily. It'll be back up soon! That's what I get for "playing"!!!!

Diane ~ Wow, I bow to you!!! You are a Princess. What a BIG heart you have for all those children! No wonder you are such a good cook! So you give talks on how to Foster or maybe how to become a Foster parent? Oh, so interesting! That is so wonderful!

Linda ~ you know me too well already!!! Holy Cow! Yeah, I do have a lot of work projects going. Yeah, yeah, yeah the batiks and Civil Wars sound good together although I would use the batiks to support the Civil War. Ooooo, what an interesting juxtapositioning of styles and periods, hummmm. That could be beautiful! As Artie would say, "Very Interesting"! Ah, be your own COP Linda, you can do it! I would do it!!!! (I sound like an instigator) Can't wait to see that Flip-Flop quilt Linda!!!! You will love it too! Nope, not retiring - you're stuck with me!!!!

Mary ~ Oh, good! I'm glad your book arrived. We have all our projects ready to post starting tomorrow. They'll go up one at a time. I'm looking forward to August although I really love Apple Cider Road projects and I hope to have more of those to put up too! Good luck with your puppy Mary. Yeah, puppy might need some lov'in. Ouch! Poor guy!

Hey Good Morning everybody!!!! Diane, being a foster Parent must be really rewarding but hard at the same time. You must be a very special person to be able to give so much of yourself to others.

I am working on a table runner that I started a few months ago but it is going slow, I pressed seams yesterday and now need to sew the stips together but today I have to go to town (grocery shopping and school clothes shopping) and that is an all day trip around here. I'd better get busy before my husband comes in and wonders what I have been doing all morning.

Diane: I hope you got a volume discount on all those mugs.

MyPretty Little Presents arrived yesterday along with FE Harvest collection. I just hope the puppy doesn't demand all my attention this weekend because I'll give it to him to make up for leaving him at the vet's this a.m. for his neutering. It'll make me feel better to at least start one project tonight before midnight when it becomes August already.

RanchMom, Congrats on your daughter's wedding! I bet she just glowed.
Diane, I was wondering what fostering was too, my mind is starting to think like Mari's. I didn't know you are a foster Mom. That is so cool. And you make all those wonderful goodies every week.
Mari, you crack me up. You can't work on your projects because you are working on work projects. Let me tell you this- I am SOOOOOO jealous of the type of 'work projects' that you get. Mine are nothing like yours. Where did I go wrong? I am going to get busy on the flip flop quilt really soon. What do you think about batiks and civil war fabrics mixed in a quilt? I think they look great, but I don't want the quilting police to come get me again. Do you think Sis will like the combination? She loves both types. And she is trying to break out of her 30's and country look mold. Well, I better go get ready for PT then work. I really should have scheduled PT after work not before. Oh well, I always do things backwards. Oh yeah, Mari, I am glad too that you aren't retiring. Plus I would have to be really jealous again.
Happy quilting!

MARI only you would think of Cupcakes! I wrote FOSTERING not FROSTING!I am a Foster Parent for my 2 wonderful sons. Jordan is 19 and we got him when he was 6 months old and our other son is 16 and we got him when he was 4months old. We had 10 other babies in between. Both boys have severe cerebral palsy.

Just for the pleasure and thrill of meeting all of you I would gladly bake whatever your hearts desire.

Oh, Diane, you are sooooo funny. I can just see those clerks at the $ Store belly aching over wrapping 30 mugs! (Gafaw to the extreme!!!) How funny they should complain over a CUSTOMER'S purchase! Wow! If you came to visit you would have to bake some of those goodies ya know!

Now I'm curious; a two hour presentation on Fostering? Children? Animals? Or, Frosting (cupcakes)????? Could it be a typo???? Help!!!!

Mary, I can't wait to see all those cozy mugs sitting in a row. I can't even get one project done!!!!! Yikes!!! Well, I have to this weekend. I have one due 7/1 for this site and its soooo cute!

Mari - only if I can come and VISIT!!!! The dollar store wasn't thrilled with me because they had to wrap each one individually and had no boxes. They let me take a cart to the car after I practically signed in blood that I would return it!

Judy I have been busy all day so haven't had a chance to finish one and take a picture. Today was market day so I baked 8 banana loaves and 8 lemon loaves. I also did a 2hr. presentation on Fostering. I am too pooped to even sew on a botton!

Mary NO i am not making up those numbers to make you feel bad. I wish! I promise to post them all when they are done. If you can you are all invited to visit, any time!!!

Mary ~ You're stuck with me for a while (actually, quite a while) longer! (Cackle!)

Diane ~ Why was the $ Store upset because you "made a purchase at their store"? Should we shop there less, or, just buy one thing at a time there? Humm...... (Tehee!) Oh, I'm a stinker I know. I'll behave. Hey Diane, are one of those 30 mugs with mug cozies for me?????? Oh, please - oh, please - o please!!!!

Oh, my, goodness! No, I'm not going anywhere. I will have more time in my sewing studio because I took on a BIG quilt project and I have to spend time there. (Yeah, I'm forced to be in my quilt studio! hee, hee) I would love to be forced to be there more often! Hummmm, maybe I need to take on these projects more often!!! Yeah, that's the ticket!
