Cindy, I saw the bridge on TV, and I told Mr. BullFrog, That's Cindy's bridge! It's crazy, it looks bad. It will take a while to get a new bridge built, too.

What a great Friday, Mari, sleep in, work from home in your PJ's, and snuggling with your Jac pooch!

Lou ANn, what am I missing? Does AG have a carry on bag pattern? I must go look. Don't get a bag too big to put on your shoulder, that will cause other problems! Stand your ground, and have a fun, quilty long weekend!

I went looking for cars this afternoon, both of ours have problems, and I put my foot down on always fixing them. I was ready for something new. I ended up with a Chevy Silverado truck! RED. Candy apple red. YUM. I think it will be a good one. Get rid of the old clunkers, they are both over ten years old. The bad thing is, I didn't get into the quilting room all day. Tomorrow, SIL and I are going looking for bathing suits. That will be fun. She is good to shop with.

Oh goodie, I get to sleep in for 3 days this weekend - yeah right!  I awaken at 5:45 no matter what day it is. It is nice to plan a long weekend, and maybe I'll get Marin's quilt put together, and some Hoopsister Blocks done, and, and, and.

Oh Cindy, I'm so sorry to hear about your family troubles. You are all in my prayers.

The bridge falling made the DC news station, but the fact that a mall garage had collapsed trapping one man (in critical condition) and killing another didn't. I hear about our mall over the radio, but no mention of it on the TV. Your bridge had to be a miracle of sorts. I know they kept looking for people for hours as they couldn't believe that the were all safe. (Yes on my TV).

Lynne, I like the idea about changing to Mix & Match with AG now instead of exchanging so many of the Diamond ones. I'm really anxious to get the Carry On bag! Ever since I've come back to work, I've carried a blue tyvek bag with Hughes on the front. I'll be so happy to have another one that is prettier. I put necessary things in 2 smaller bags, plus everything I have to bring each day. Then I have the bag over my shoulder to go home with whatever too. I usually bring my yogurt, granola bars and apples for lunch 5 days at a time, so that's the real reason for the large bag.

Mari, any plans for the long weekend, or are you enjoying your own home like I am? If Dick wants to go anywhere, I'll just let him find someone to take him. This is my weekend. Now I had thought that last weekend, and his son called to tell us to be at their place at 8:30 AM. He was ferrying people to his son's graduation and we tried to argue that ours said it was an announcement, but we had to go. I had a good time, it just wasn't what I had planned. That's why this one is mine and DH has been told just that. He still wants to join an exercise place and may try to get me to take him there, but I still think he will quit after a couple of times. He is so like a child now. Oh well, life goes on!

Cindy, horrible news about the bridge & the health issues. My 77yo aunt just had a brain tumor removed. Still waiting for busy results to determine course of action.

Mari, good for you sleeping in! I am sew not ready for Gifty to start. Darn! Retreat coming up in June I'm still not ready for, either.

Hey just a reminder... one week before Gifty starts! Wahoo!

Good morning everyone and good afternoon to many of you. Mary Agnes is right, I did sleep in and it felt great! I work from home on Fridays and that's great too. I have my Jac pooch snuggle up beside me and he is so sweet and cute.

Cindy, bad news about that bridge; the results could have been so much worse. So, so sorry to hear about your DSIL. I can't imagine how that must feel to be given that news. Poor guy!

Hey, how about brownies for breakfast? Or, in some neck of the woods, lunch? We can have a brownie party? Yum & fun!

That's a good idea, Barbara, I like it when my fabric is neat and the same size. It's not like that now, but it has been! And I will come over anytime for brownines and coffee or hot cocoa. No milk for me,yuck.

I'm trying to stay safe and dry, Diane! It's not raining right now, so I am headed out to do a couple of things I have been putting off.

That's terrible, Cindy! It seems like there are lots of bridges that take the plunge. Sew scarey. Big quilty hugs for your whole family.

I slept in a bit too, Barbara, until SIL texted me. She is going to come over tomorrow, and we are going bathing suit shopping. That is, assuming the pool ever gets fixed. I think I need a SIL day, it will be good. Maybe you want to come with us and spend your extra money, if you can quit dancing for a minute!

I am off to run my little errands. Maybe continue with my ME projects later.

Diane:  Too  bad DH isn't home.

Thanks ladies for the idea. BUT you are a few hours too late! And Mary Agnes I am NOT going dumpster diving!

Good morning!! Beanie slept in , thus, so did I. lol

Cindy, hugs and prayers go out to you and your family. Prayers also.

Wow that's scary about the bridge. Good that no one was killed. You had a long enough drive to get to civilization already. It will be longer now? Ugh.

Should be going to town in a little bet but am gonna finish my coffee first. Oh, my friend came and picked up the curtains last eve. She didn't want any changes so that little task is done. She insisted on giving me some money for my time. I hadn't expected that. Doing a little happy dance. ooh, better stop, the house is shaking- LOL

Good idea to donate old lines to the animal shelter.

Take care all.

Here I am.  Here I am!!!  Sorry to leave you alone Diane.  And you're right, Cindy is probably still in bed.  And it looks like Mari is taking a four day weekend so she's probably in dreamland too.

Animal shelters and hospitals often seek donations of old linens.  That's just in case you can retrieve yours from the trash, Diane.  Sorry.  The last thing you need is another cause.

Quilty hugs to Cindy and family.  Best wishes for speedy good health.
