Sunny and bright, but chilly here.  It's supposed to warm up in the middle of the week.  That'd be a nice change.

Sure hope DH feels better quickly Kim.  Sick is no fun.

I've always thought a pasta maker could be fun to have.  When I make it, I cut by hand.  I like the abstract-ness of the hand cut but wouldn't work well for a quantity now would it.   Where's the pizzellas !!

Yahoo on the bells Barbara.  Well, too bad the two things times conflict.  That's a shame.   I never ended up taking the lasagna out of the freezer.  Guess I still have time.

I got a collar and bell on Tyler so I can find her easier.  She's had some self introductions today that have gone pretty well.   I got some really cool pictures of that on Facebook.

Here's a video of  her pretty little self.

Good morning. It's still cold here and we have snow covering the ground from a few days ago. That makes for short outside trips for Sophie. I guess she doesn't like cold feet.

Froggie your littles are great. I agree that you sure get a lot done.

Tyler knows who to go to in need. I bet she was curled up sleeping somewhere. Glad you can corral her now.

Bells went well last eve. It was a community service and we were the very first thing. We had to bring all the bell stuff and set up. One of the QOV gals was there and asked where I'd been the last couple of months. Guess that means I'm still a part of the group. Our last Bible study was a 9 week one and meets at the same time as QOV. I think I'll get my QOV quilt top out and get reacquainted with it.

Oh no Kim. Some guys can be really wimpy when they get sick. I know my DS was. Wishing you patience with the patient. I'm not doing the BH mystery this year. I usually think "I can do this" , then get way behind. So I am not even starting it this time. The colors look really bright this time around.

Pasta would be good. I have an attachment for my stand mixer that makes pasta. The problem is that I have to get the recipe right to begin with. Every once in awhile I get it right. lol

Was that the last race of the season, Kim? I saw Mr. B was watching it. We used to watch every week, and somewhere along the line got away from it.

We must have been typing on each other's fingers, Kathleen. That really must have been embarrassing. Mr. B would tell you that can't happen. I tell him, yes it does, these things are posessed with little gremlins. I bet it threw you off for the whole service. Toymaker! You crack me up. I guess it's true, though. I might make some more stockings. We will see, they are time consuming.

I will be right over for lasasgne, Thel. I am sure you made delicious noodles from scratch like Anne did. I think about her every time I think about lasagna or homemade noodles. Did I mention DD1 has bought herself a pasta maker, and she is going crazy making pasta. She told me that I need one.

Good Fortune, Kim? I bet that will be one pretty quilt when it's finished, especially with all that DGS2 orange in it.

It sounds like Tyler knows what to do now when she gets hungry, instead of scrounging around someone's trash, she goes to her hero, Thel!

I need to do some cleaning today, get things all clean and set for DD1 coming, and for Thanksgiving dinner. DGS2 doesn't know he's about to lose his table for a week. He will be fine with it, he's a trooper.

Good morning, a cloudy day with some rain later tonight into tomorrow. And then much, much colder as we get closer to Thanksgiving.

Got up early this morning and have been straightening up in my sewing area get ready for the Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt that starts on Friday. It's called Good Fortune so GF for short in the future. I have most of the fabrics pulled already but did order some oranges since I didn't have very much orange in my stash to pull from.

I think I will go to the farm stand today and get my vegetables for Thanksgiving and then work tomorrow when it's raining.

I agree, Tyler works for a girl. She so cute. She disappeared on you Thel but showed up when her tummy told her it was dinner time.

Well, I better get moving. Hubby is home sick today so I suppose I will be at his beck and call today. He is the worst when he doesn't feel well.

Have a great day...

Good luck to DS Barbara.  That sure would be wonderful for the family.

Froggie,  you rest and just roll around and get that organizing done.

DH and I took the commercialism out of Christmas a very long time ago.  I love all the great traditions but don't exchange gifts.  The celebration of the reason is what makes me happy.  Your desserts sound awesome Mary Alice.  I'll take a big slice of cake please.

Oh boy Bells.  I wish we could hear it.  Enjoy the evening performance too.

Woohoo, your phone wanted to celebrate at church Kathleen.  That's pretty weird tho.  I wonder how it did that.

LOVE your projects Froggie.  WOW,  you do beautiful work.  I'm not sure which I like best.  I hope you stop hurting soon.

Yummy food Kim.  I like your idea with the cooked meat in the freezer for quick use later.  Great plan.    Hmm, maybe I though thaw out the lasagna I have in the freezer.  I need room in there.  Yah!

Cammies back!

I got the condo back and Tyler is enjoying herself.  She'd rather be free range (she disappeared on me for hours earlier).  She finally appeared when she got hungry!  I need to get some more pictures.  She's so pretty.

You've been a busy little toymaker, Froggie . . . love your projects. The stockings are my favorite.

Very cute Froggie. You sure do get a lot accomplished.

I made a meat sauce today and used some of it to make a pan of lasagne for dinner. The rest I packaged up and put in the freezer. Then I had some extra chop meat that I didn't use in the sauce so I decided to brown that up and put it in the freezer. I'm thinking I can use it for tacos or something like that.

Just a few more laps and this season's racing is over till February.

Couldn't you make a bigger cup of coffee, Mary Alice? Like, put the Keurig on the largest size? That sounds like a lot of desserts for Thanksgiving. We will be there, with coffee.

More bells, Barbara? I wish I could hear them. I hate that hunting time too, whether it's for a recipe, or quilt supplies, Barbara! I do that all the time.

I cleaned in the quilting room all day. My hips are killing me now. I decided to sit for a while before fixing dinner. I got some pictures of three projects, the Embroidery Library stuffed designs, the top row is for Myra, and the bottom row is for me. And the pears, they are for DD1. And the stockings that I think I am going to hang in the living room, where the ghosts are now. And I have a project ready to quilt and finish tomorrow. It's a Thankgsiving project, so I might just get it finished.

Sherri, that's a wonderful idea to donate your quilts. The Christmas one looks great!

I was thinking Tyler worked for a girl too, but wasn't sure.

So I had a first happen to me in church this morning. I get there early to say the rosary, which hadn't started yet, but my cell phone did!! I had the switch flipped to all sounds off. It's a hard switch. Can't be bumped. Well, all of a sudden, country rock music started playing loud and clear!! I grabbed my phone and started pushing buttons to get it to stop and it just would not! Had to walk back to the entrance of the church to compose myself and figure out how to stop it. I was ready to step on it! Finally pressed the home button twice to see what's running in the background and got rid of all that and it finally shut up. Good thing there was only a handful of people in church at that time. Just a tad bit embarrassing . . . .

I was thinkg that Tyler might be a girl as it looks like he/she is a calico. Male calicos are very rare. Tyler works for a girl name too. Hope you enjoyed church.

Bells rang this AM at Church. We actually did pretty well. WE ring again this evening at the Community Thanksgiving service.

I hope you aren't too tired out to enjoy the redo, Kim. I miss having someone around that will do all that kind of thing. Plumbers, carpenters, electricians and HVAC people are expensive.

Sherri those are cute quilts. It's great that you are willing to share them and I'm sure they will be loved. Hope you can feel a little Christmas Joy in giving them away.

Hope your sis finds the recipe you want Froggie. I hate it when I have to spend more time looking for a recipe in my recipe collection than actually making the item.
