Bailey is just gorgeous!  Love the expression.

You sure have been busy Rita.  All that fruit sounds wonderful.  Do you have a dehydrator?  If not, how do you do it.  I don't have one but think I'd like one.  I don't know how to properly dehydrate anything.

That self confidence is in there Rita, you just gotta let it sneak back out.  Hey,  if I can start driving again after not being behind the wheel for 5 years you can tackle that sewing machine.

My herd is loving the cooler weather of the day and evening.  It was so fun to watch Moose and Buzz playing tag earlier.  Everybodies worn out now, me too.

Hi everyone, just done reading, I try hard not to get too far behind, I was gone again today, it was a reunion at a buffet for some our grade school kids. We try to get together a couple of times a year, but whoops been about 5 years since I was able to show up. apparently true for some of the others too, Only 6 of us today, and lots of physical stuff to commiserate with, but fun to touch basis, and visit a little, also visited with my Brother/ nephew, we were pretty much raised together, and I am more the age of my nieces and nephews than my siblings, I was a late arrival. He gave me some plums/prunes , apples, and pears, so plan to get busy dehydrating tomorrow, and make some apple

,dumplings with some apples my DD1 brought up. I got lots of house work done yesterday, until my shoulders wore out, but vacuumed and scrubbed the whole upper level. I got my DD1 curtains cut, and will sew in a day or so. Progress, but  where has my selfconfidence gone.

Well  bed time, we have an early appt tomorrow. Nite all.

I don't know what breed the visitor is.  Just that she is still a puppy.  So I'll guess she will end up quite a bit bigger than Bailey (on the left) who is a little over 2 yrs.   Bailey is a brindle chiweenie  with really pretty coloring.  I'll have to ask about Mike's student's dog.  Here's another of Bailey.

I was kinda wondering too Kathleen.  A weenie body with a chow tail...….or maybe a fox sneak in the house and they put a harness on him.

That's a great block Barbara. And maybe Herc was just trying to help ;)

Yikes that's a big grasshopper! And those lights look great, multi colored or not. Gives a nice cozy look to the bark park.

Carol, I wonder what kind of dog the one on the right is. He looks as small as the chiweenie, but it looks like he has quite a big fluffy tail.

Oh my goodness look at those pups.  I love Chiweenies.  I fostered one a long time ago, just a puppy.  He was too adorable.  I love the chi face with the weenie body.  I love how intent those pups are on watching outside.  Which pup is her pup (or both)?  The dark one has adorable ears too.

Thanks for the compliments.  I really like the lights on the fence.  I just came in from a short walk.  You wouldn't even know they were there from the street which is kinda good cause then I don't look like a crazy ( or crazier) lady with lights up with no holiday in sight.

Like your lights Thel!  They add such a nice touch!  And your grasshopper friend is a "big feller".  Thought you would like this picture of my daughter's family's chiweenie (cross between dachshund and chihuahua.)  Bailey is on the left.  She had a playdate with a doggie belonging to one of son-in-law Mike's grad students.  Looks like Bailey in introducing her guest to all the interesting stuff in their neighborhood.

Well, no matter how hard I try,  I can't get the fact that the rope lights are multi-colored to show up in a photo.  But I love the look.  I'll have to walk outside the Bark Park in a bit and see if the light goes through the black windbreak fabric or not.  Doesn't really matter if it does.  I just want to know what it looks like from the street.

LOVE your block Barbara.  WOW,  that is a lot of PP and absolutely beautiful.  I love the fabrics.

Those darn cats!  They sure do like to participate and cause havoc don't they?   I had the pleasure of having baby hop onto my hand, that was on the computer mouse the other day when I was playing Bingo and made me click a Bad Bingo.  Crazy cats!!

Buddy is a mixed breed;  min pin/terrier/??? (nobody remembers the ??? at the moment but plans to find out).   The min-pin certainly seems to be the dominant part.  Buzz will be so happy.  He seems to favor them.

When working out in the yard today, I realized I had someone attempting to get my lock undone going into the garage.    He was a big guy too (bigger than my thumb).
