Good sites,Marcia! I think I started one of his block of the month things in the winter-I made it with really large squares-6"-so it made large blocks-have the pattern with the fabrics from my stash-so far,it is another UFO.

These are a few of the sites that have a lot of patterns available on them - pieced, appliqued, foundation pieced. If you are in to applique, go to www.appleblossomquilts.com Click on newsletter and subscribe. Connie Sue Haidle has some really neat applique patterns she gives away free to her subscribers. The year after she uses them in her BOM, she sells the patterns.

Here is the link to a video about the Jelly Roll Quilt where you sew all the strips together, then begin building one big block. Don't forget to cut the first 18" off the 1600" strip so that the joining seams will be staggered.

Long armers- you will enjoy this tutorial! It shows glow-in-the-dark feathers and other decorative designs being stitched IN THE DARK!!!!!

Thanks for that site Marcia - I loved it. He's an amazing quilter - if only my hands would move so smoothly :) maybe I need to try it in the dark - lol
