Out of curiousity, I was wondering what you tend to listen to when you are quilting. I like classic rock and new age stuff. (I know, I'm eccentric.) Currently, I am listening to the beatles anthogy and across the universe sound track.
I only have a clock, radio, cd combo, so it's more or less what I have in the room at the time. The audio books are a great idea! That would be perfect since music gets distorted. My room is in progress, and I will upgrade. Good idea for now.
I listen to Michael Bolton singing love songs or Barry Manilow, IL Divo or Josh Groban. I really enjoy my music while I am "creating" in my craft room or driving in our car.

Finally - DH is back to the piano! Since his knee surgery (not quite a month ago), he's going to Physical Therapy twice/week. He's now able to sit upright with the knee at 90 degrees. I think hes' making for some lost time now.
Always enjoyable - can you hear that?
Since DH and I never had children our priorities differ greatly from those of you who do have children and grandchildren. Tonight we have an "emergency" appointment at the "Drs. office". One of DHs' favorite things is very "ill" and needs to be seen.
Last night, while DH was practicing with some friends, his iPod died. This is very tragic for him. So we have an appointment at the Apple store tonight. When he first bought it they offered what they call Apple Care - cute name for extended warrenty (or in this case "health insurance").
I secretly laugh at him about this but I do miss hearing him practice at home. He's learning some new songs now.
Will miracles never cease!
Yesterday morning, iPod came back to life and, according to DH, is working better than ever!
He even called the "Drs. office" and cancelled the appointment.
No one knows how or why iPod is working again - maybe it just needed a rest
I wonder if this will become one of those bad times that had a happy ending which I'll be able to think about in the future and smile (or even laugh) about.
