Comment by betweens on September 5, 2012 at 3:15am Sorry Dianne I have not used spray baste for hand quilting and only used it once on a lap quilt to machine quilt. Honestly I didn`t like it to start with. I don`t even baste the mini quilts when hand quilting my frame holds it well when quilting and i start in the middle...unless you don`t use a frame.
I also posted on my blog the link for Sentimental stitches she is coinciding with Barbara with her blocks they are applique and prim looking I think they would be perfect it is one of my favorite quilts
Comment by Dianne B/ Kelowna BC on September 4, 2012 at 10:19am Hi everyone. First day of back to school! My oldest DD is going to Grade 4 and my youngest starts Kindergarten tomorrow.
Thought I would share this link - http://grandmotherschoice.blogspot.ca/
Barbara Brackman is doing a Block a Week - finished blocks are 8 inches, but very interesting historic info with each post.
Question and help please! I want to hand quilt a mini and was thinking of using the spray basting. Does it work with hand quilting? Will it shift with all the handling and make the needle sticky? Thanks for your help.
Happy sewing!
Thanks Betweens, I signed on too, lol!...
