Did you hear we have snow coming this weekend? Yeah!

did anyone make it outside yesterday? It was a beautiful day! I tackled a monster mound of fountain grass that I've been putting off trimming for about 5 years. Now I need a box of bandaids! ggg

Oooo, You're very motivated to be getting up at 4 AM. Keep it up! You can do it!

Hi guys just started a 8 week program at the gym. It is called the biggest loser. The only problem I have is getting up at 4 in the morning. That I have to get use to. Keep me lifted up this will free my day for more quilting>

Hi Lindy Did you get done organizing? I'm sending good wishes your way!

I'm wallpapering my bedroom this week, so no quilting for me this week. I've been watching the weather back in Iowa (where I was born and raised) and I am sooo glad I'm in NC now! One road has an 8 ft snow drift that is 3 blocks long!

I am beginning to get organized already the last 2 days and all day today for NYD today. My New Year's resolution is getting my fabric organized (one more try -- this year 2010) I removed the fabric from the plastic bins, the bins were taking up too much room and I couldn't even lift them to see inside them -- still although they are see through. I may have to go through an entire stack but I can now see it. Any organizers out there have better ideas.... sorted by color, plaids and prints. My shelves are full, where will I put the scraps now.

Hi, Christine. Best wishes for your Christmas gifts. I'm so glad mine are finished and mailed!! :)

I LOVE new beginnings: Mondays, 1st of the month, new seasons and especially New Year's (2000 was quite a bang for me!!), so of course I also like resolutions! The trick for me is not to make too many, cause I really try to keep them! Maybe what I need to do is follow your example!
Maybe I can then quit worrying about the 10 lbs. I need to lose!!

What kinds of Christmas gifts are you/have you making(made)?

Hi Gini! I'm working on Christmas presents this week. I hope to have enough time to start working again on my current quilt project, we'll see how that goes.

Every year I resolve never to make another resolution, and I always meet that goal. LOL!!

Hi, ladies! It looks as though all of the NC Quilters have gotten caught up in the holiday maddness! I am euphoric as I just finished the wall hangings for my senior granddaughters and will mail the box tomorrow! They aren't perfect, but knowing the girls they will still like the gift and love me! Perfection is due next year!! ( I NEVER have to prove I'm not perfect to God or people but I keep trying!)

Any New Year's Resolutions out there? Mine is to finish my UFOs before I get inspired to start another quilt!

Hi Christine I still love you pillow set, wondering if you have more pics, I should have reviewed you page again but I'll go look now. It is so nice.
Thanks again for sharing. I need to come more often
