I thought it would be a good idea to start listing the various types of paper that people use when they are paper piecing.  Personally I prefer newsprint over anything else.  I bought a case from…Continue

That would be really cute Marianne. Have fun at the quilt show.

I am going to a quilt show in Harrogate next Friday, I hope to get some stimulation as I have been a little lethargic recently.  I am looking for a small piece of some Kermit material.  A friend has just got a campervan, she loves it and called it Kermit, I thought it would be fun to make cushions with Kermit material. That is a really pretty quilt that Ricky designed, but I'm really trying to stay focused on finishing other projects.  I'm looking forward to seeing a pic of your quilt when it is finished Amanda.

Love your quilt, Janet. Funny about your not liking the top very much when you first finished it, that just happened to me. I was getting out this top that just needs the borders, I thought I might just go ahead and donate it to my guild, because I wasn't happy with it the last time I saw it, well this time I loved it and I cannot wait to get it done. Weird how some of us do that!

The Ricky Tims free BOM quilt along for the Legacy quilt is paper pieced. I really love the quilt, but I am resisting starting it, because I still have the Harry Potter paper pieced one to work on. Here is the link if anyone else is interested.

Thanks Connie.  All of Carol Doak's patterns are paper pieced.  After buying some of her books & joining her Yahoo group years ago, I suddenly understood paper piecing & now I love doing it.
