Hey Kristin, I haven't talked to you in a while, just wondering what you are up to. I forgot about those credits, they seem to have disappeared from the site as quickly and mysteriously as they appeared. Who knows? Well, I attended the Des Moines quilt show, my SIL went with me, we had a blast! Met some friends from another group on CT, it was so much fun to meet friends in person. Maybe someday I will wander up to the Pacific Northwest again, and meet you and your co-workers! I can dream, can't I? I haven't finished my top yet, I am still pondering making more blocks. It will probably be after Christmas at this rate. Whenever it happens, you will be the first to know!
Hoppy quilting!

Linda,
Gosh, I had no idea you'd posted a comment for me. I'm so sorry I haven't responded yet! For some reason I'm not getting notified any more when people leave comments. Very wierd! I'll just try to check in more often.
Anyway, about these credits - I'm not sure what you're talking about. No where can I find a place to "give a gift" on this website. Maybe my fellow employees are playing a trick on me and nobody wants me to give any gifts, so they're all keeping it a secret from me, haha! If I figure it out, I'll send you a gift myself.
Happy quilting, and Happy Halloween!

Woohoo, Cat Lady, you finished your top! I am still pondering making more blocks to make it fit my bed.
We will see.
What's this 'gift' stuff about, Kristin? I am such a goofball, I gave myself a gift, and now only have 25 credits. How do I get more credits? Either go to college, or post a journal in GL. Debits on the left, credits on the right.
Hoppy quilting!

Just talked to my LAQ, and I can take my top, etc., over for her to work on when she gets to it. So one of these next few (time periods) I will be able to post my finished quilt!

Yeah, wait a bit more. lol. I haven't been in the quilting room since Sunday. I need another vacation to finish some more quilts. Or can I retire? I don't think I qualify yet. Oh well, maybe some more vacation.
Happy quilting!

Alright Linda, Nicola - how are you guys coming along? Still waiting for you!
Traci Comment by Traci on September 14, 2009 at 11:06am
Linda, yes my background is just black and you are right the colors are very bright! The blocks are the colors I pulled from my border fabric and I was worried about it until I got the borders on. The borders make the quilt. I will be glad when this one gets quilted.

Oh, gee thanks, Nicola. All on my own? That's sad. Or maybe it's a challenge, and I have to get myself motivated to finish it.
Traci,
Is your whole background black? I love that. I need to do a black background, I love black in quilts. I think the squares would have to be bright colors to pop with black, is that right?
I think I have too many UFO's. I think it's CT's fault. All these great groups, and I have to go to work, which cuts into my quilting time! OK, no more whining.
Happy quilting!
