I see from the previous discussion that many of you, like me, have not been doing a lot of quilting this summer, but now that fall is here, we all seem to be back to it! Among projects that I've been picking away at this year, is this one called Celtic Cobblestones. Because it requires custom quilting, I'm doing it at home on my domestic machine. It's a big job! So I'm doing a kind of quilt-as-you-go method. The first couple of rows are done. I hope you can see the quilting on this pic. I'm simply doing some shadow quilting, and then in the cobblestone blocks a stitch-in-the-ditch around the dark brown. Hopefully the center will be all done in a couple of days, and then I can start on the borders.
L love the work you are doing and the pattern is great Good luck
Very nice, Peg. It will be a great quilt with all that lovely quilting.
I am working on a wedding quilt for the daughter of my daughter's best friend. She is so kind to my daughter that I want to make a quilt for her to present to her daughter. It is a 9 patch with sashing. I used an early CT collection - Essential Spring fabrics. The colours are muted and soft. The sashing cornerstones are CT's blue chambray.
Very nice, I have never seen this pattern before...it looks wonderful.
I'm getting close to sewing the top for the wedding quilt. I love the fabric. CT has had so many collections that I love to work with.
