I am a long time member of "Quilting With Us" (QWU). I used to give virtual workshops here. Like many others, I have ventured out as QWU became more quiet.

We are getting the warning that QWU is at risk of being disabled. I fear this is a sign that QWU will one day be no more.

It has become like family here and the thought of losing the friendships we have developed has giving me a sad heart. Like many dark clouds, there is a silver lining. When I ventured out, I created a quilters social network, much like QWU. I never mentioned it, for it was a conflict of interest. However, in this dark hour, it is time to let others know there is an alternative. It does not have to end here.

I would be honored for QWU members to join "Pattern Pastiche". If needed, we are more than happy to create a group for your new home.

Annie, None of us got our RR's back.  I can't even remember what mine looked like, but it had a journal and disposable camera with it if anyone recognizes it!  Carol

Would be interested in doing another one.  By the way, has anyone seen a center that was dark blue with fusible snowflakes on it?  The snow flakes were made the way that paper snowflakes are made.  Just wondering.

I would be interested in joining a new Round Robin group.  I notice that the previous Round Robin doesn't seem to have finished?

I am here, but I don't have anything to send.  I was to get mine from Kit, I think it was Stephani's, but evidently kit's family did not find it after she died.  Carol

How are things going everyone?  My how the best laid plans can go awry!  Let's try to get these round robin pieces back to their owners by the end of February shall we?  ;-)

I have two pieces, having hard time finding time to finish them. Sorry to hear about Kit. A death is always hard. My sympathy goes out to the family.
