Well, now that we have all this "connectedness" via internet we may just start intermingling our language. I can hear the Canadian's "eh" mixed with the southern "y'all", etc........ Hey, we can mix in some ebonics and the Minnesota twang with the French bon jour!

O.K. Froggie I should be mad at you for insulting us Canadians 'eh!' But I have to be honest and admit I thought the exact same thing when I read it!

Mari, now ya sound like you are from Canada, eh?
Jan, when you get done with your house, you want to come to mine and help clean? We have a huge mess. Computer on the table, 2 chairs in the dining room, one is on its side. Stuff in the hall, stuff piled in the bedroom, and I have to clean out a closet, no two closets still. ugh. At least the kids are safe and happy. I mean not on the street and happy.
Mari, did you give our crud to Darlene yet?
Jan, I bet ya setup your quilting room FIRST in the new house, even before the bed, and the kitchen. You can sleep on the mattress on the floor, and you can call Pizza Hut.

Hey Anne! Oh gosh, I'm glad I'm back too! I really don't like being sick. Still have congestion in my chest and such but at least I can work now. Ugh, sickness this time of year is very problematic. It seems like it lasts forever! I did have family over on Sunday (almost called it off) for birthday celebrations. The food was great and company better but they didn't stay long into the evening which was good for me. I think my work buddies today wish I wasn't here with all my hacking!

Put two coats of paint on the new bathroom wall today - think it is good to go now. Have to touch up a couple spots on the ceiling where I got wall paint on it, but that won't be bad. Then DH can do some more calking, set the stool and put the vanity back in. I'll be glad to have the use of the bathroom back.
DH worked on the deck today - way too hot, but it is getting done. He also mowed. I just keep putzing around, doing little jobs. The mover is to bring me boxes soon - then I'll start flying room to room!!

Hi Mari..Glad you're back...Missed you a lot....Hope you are feeling better, when you read this. I'm missing a lot of you...I just hope you all got real busy with other things, and will be back real soon. I'm still working on my hand stitched applique.

Whew!! Been a while since I was here. I'm sorry I haven't uploaded the list of books to my page yet. I am on my laptop now as my other cpu is getting worked on. Hope to have it back soon - nothing major, just need more memory to make it go faster. Soon as I get it, I'll post the books. Some are really old!!! I am keeping some - ones I remember pouring over growing up. The others were all later acquisitions. My dad loved to read - everything. I'll be back - no sewing, just working on house and other stuff.
