Good Morn'in! Yeah, I was on vacation again and forgot to let you know. My kids from Seattle came down on Thursday and stayed through Sunday. We had so much fun AND it was great taking a couple of days off. They were packed too! It was SO much fun!!!

I think Mari drank the exploding dandelion wine. Or she has the crud. Or she is on the way to NYC to see Cowboy nekkid. I love the book, we will be rich, rich, rich!

I agree MaryAgnus/NYC...We are a classic group... Can't stop now, And writing our book would really be a best seller, I love coming in here in the morning...no matter what the day will hold..I LOL My friends here have made my Day!... Dandelion Wine exploding...tragic, I know, but, funny.
Friends of ours Made The Dandelion Wine.. Have you ever smelled it??? In doing so, I wouldn't even taste it. A good thing I didn't..It might have exploded going down into my tummy. Have a wonderful day my friends. And we'll be back to see where Mari disappeared to. Hope she's ok?

They could call the book the "Quacky Quilters of Sip of Summer School". I am sure it would be a best seller.

Great Aunt Winnie, Wacky Cake, exploding dandelion wine. We ought to write a book.

How funny, Diane, being shot at. Mom probably cried when she found it was her wine.
You are so right, Jan, the wine rack wouldnt be nearly as nice as having the wine in a glass. I will cancel my order now. I'm going to go look on your page for the books, they sound great. you sure you don't want to keep them?

I hadn't thought of Wacky Cake for years. I used to make it all the time - quick and easy. Very moist. Like brownies, but not so heavy.
Froggie - Wine Rack Bra??? Come on, who would want that? You'd need a straw (at least I think that's how it would work) and you'd have your head down, so your shoulders would ache. Better to just have it in a glass!!!
Anne - your pin cushions are adorable. Glad you had a good time at the beach.
I'm still packing, cleaning, etc. Had a friend here for a couple days and she helped me a lot. I finally got the antique books catalogued and will post a partial list on my page. Some are really old - in the 1800s, and in fairly good condition. Some were family books, so will try to persuade our daughters they need to keep them!!! I'm taking a bunch of the current books to the local library to either use or put up for sale at their annual book sale. I don't want them, but can't make myself throw them out!!!
No sewing, but have drooled over a couple of quilting magazines!!!

Anne you are really classy! My family made dandelion wine. And yes they lived for many years after drinking it. Except for the summer the tops all blew off in the basement and my mom thought she was being shot at.

OK we are both lushes then. I bet that was fun, squeezing the grapes. Chicken cutlets sound really good. I think I will hop right up there.
The cake sounds good, and you dont get any bowls dirty, just the pan. I love it.
I have to go to daddy's tonight. Get his bills and see what trouble he has been getting into this week.
